JSPM RSCOE Pune: About Admission, Exams & More

Overall Rating
I got seat in Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering through CAP round. College is good as I was expecting. It has its own hostels & mess. It organises workshop for students. Library is open upto 10 PM in our college. College conducts many events per year and support for all activities of student.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Electronics and Telecommunication branch in B.Tech. This branch is accredited by NDA and has good reviews. It accepts admission through MHT CET and JEE score. Admission process is very easy for all students. There are faculties for guidance. Exams are conducted strictly. They take place 2 times in every semester that is mid sem, and end sem. Criteria for passing these exams is to score 12 out of 30 and 20 out of 50. This college focuses on enhancing practical knowledge of student. Academic preparation is excellent also.
Fee structure of JSPM RSCOE Pune is depending on student’s cutoff. Open category candidate has to pay Rs. 1,50,000/-. Several Scholarships are also available for the students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are very good. Faculties are very well educated. They motivate us for our studies. Faculty member teaching is very good. They discuss all the topics with us & solve our doubt. There are different faculty for teaching and practical. Faculty always support us for every thing
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell is average. I am not experienced with the working of placement cell as I am in 1st year but from senior reviews placement cell is always active for student placement. Also student get internship from seconded year onwards in Taiwan, Japan, and so on.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are separate for boys and girls. Hostel contains may facilities like Hot Water, Electricity, Washing Machine, and big space for playing. Hostel room is comfortable. Food quality os good. Hostel has separate food court.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The College has peaceful campus and infrastructure is good. It has different building for each Engineering branch. College building is very well designed. There is also separate footpath for walking & parking section. In campus, there is ground for playing and doing other activities. Colleges conduct events for motivating students. Also, conduct club activity for students.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is full of joy. Students are offered many clubs. Faculty also supports in club activities. Club activities like Singing, Acting, Research, as well as Hackathon Preparation. Ragging is strictly banned in our college also Anti-Ragging form has to be filled by every student & it is compulsory.

    The college is located at Tathawade in The PCMC region of Pune. I got 90 %ile in the MHT-CET entrance exam, so I opted for the best possible branch and college at that time.     My overall experience at the college is quite satisfactory. One of my family friend who passed out from the same college suggested me to take admission here. During the first few days, I was a bit nervous and not happy about the college, but as the time passed by I felt comfortable and started enjoying my college journey.
