Honest Opinion about Lukhdhirji Engineering College, Morbi

Overall Rating
Overall College is very good & it was founded in 1951. As compared to other branches, Chemical Engineering offers good academic and placement opportunities. Most of the toppers are from this department and the overall opinion of Lukhdhirji Engineering College, Morbi is good through my point of view. The student teacher bonding in my College is also good. I chose this College just because my brother is also enroled here and also because of the average placement package for Chemical Engineers.
 

Academics Rating
I chose to do this course because it is a fundamental field, the principles of which are applied across all operations and equipment found in industrial sites. Total 2 exams are there per semester. External exams are conducted by the Gujarat Technological University (GTU). The College admission process is simple: seats are given through up to four online rounds where candidates are matched to Colleges based on their preferences. The candidate must bring their documents to the College for physical verification and to complete the final admission formalities.
Fees per semester is Rs. 1500/-. There is an additional fee which is around Rs. 2000/- for amenities like gym, mess, locker, sports etc.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty are not up to the mark because they teach in Gujarati due to which outer state students are facing problem to understand subjects. Only a few teachers are there who teach in English or Hindi and make bond with students.
 

Placement Rating
Few students are getting placements and last time 12 students from my department got placed.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, Lukhdhirji Engineering College, Morbi offers residential facilities to boys and girls separately with basic utilities such as fan, light, bed, chair, and table.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College campus should be improved as half of the College is under maintenance since lockdown in 2019. Or the money is taken by the employees of the College and others. Transportation facility is not up to the mark because of all year round construction outside the campus. The road is busy which makes it difficult to come in College. Favourite thing in College is old campus. It is good for photos and sitting in peace.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is average. College crowd is less but on exams days too many students are seen in College campus. Yes, there is a club in College called the Ignite Club which organises events like garba, dance, traditional day, signature day, and many more events. Total 3 to 4 fests are organised in College campus for students. Sports days are there in extracurricular activities.
