RTU Kota has Nearly 355-Acre Campus

I've been in RTU Kota for two years and just feels that this place not only provides you education in one way only it also provides you the cultural and traditional knowledge as you see many students coming from various other cultures. In our University, you will see many students from J&K, Ladakh, West Bengal, Karnataka, and many more and also feel that not only in education field I have explored myself in different languages and cultures also here. In terms of education, it also not a one way direction that is your esteemed branch here you can explore yourself in many fields. So overall, I will say this green lush campus will always motivates you to move forward like the river Chambal that is just behind this campus.

I have been doing my graduation in B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. I found the atmosphere of this Department is just different from the outer atmosphere of department as when you enter here, you will find that you have just entered in an advanced era. Here, you will be tested by the conduction of two midterms, Internal, External exams, and then the end-term. All these in 6 months so these pre-practices make you very good in time management and all.

The annual tuition fee turns out to be Rs. 70,000/- for my branch, all other branches have fewer fees than this. When you include the Hostel and mess fees. Then the annual fees comes out to be Rs. 1,20,000/-. However, for GAS seats it comes out to be very less as their annual tuition fees, it is just maximum Rs. 30,000/-. In addition, for the SC & ST students, there is a huge amount of discount in tuition fees. In addition, manys Government and Private scholarships are provided to student.

My branch has numbers of faculties, which are graduated from the premier institutes of the Nation as if IIT's, NIT’s & many more of our faculties have also achieved great achievements in research field. The Mathematics department of our University is at a great level because of the faculties that have graduated from Foreign Universities and contributed in ISRO and DRDO. In addition, majority of the faculties have achieved great knowledge in the field of Cloud Computing.

Rajasthan Technical University, Kota is generally a Tier 1 University so the placements here are at a great level here. Most of the companies starts coming into campus for the conduction of placements drive from the month of October. Number of companies that comes here comes out to be around 250 to 255 (every year).

Our University provides great Hostel and Mess faculties with separate girl and boy’s hostel. There are 5 boy’s hostels. Each of them is having their own mess. Girls are having two big hostels having own mess. As per my opinion and my friends, review the food provided here is great in term of quality. The annual fee of the hostel of both boys and girls is around Rs. 12,000/- annually as it is a government University. Every hostel has a playing area outside it offering various sports like Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, etc. In addition, in terms of indoor games there is separate table tennis provided in every hostel. Overall, I will say the hostels are good.

RTU Kota' campus area is around 355 acres. The main part of this campus from my side is its infrastructure. It is very big and even greater than many NIT's it is around 385 acres. There is a lot of greenery around this University. There are separate blocks for every branch such as Mechanical branch has their own block so as for Civil, Electrical, Electronics, and Communication branches. Our University also has a Sports Complex, Football Ground, Cricket Ground, Volleyball Court, Lawn Tennis Court and three big parks. There is also a cafeteria and three canteens inside the University. So overall, I say in terms of infrastructure, this University is far very better.

Overall, I say the campus life is very amazing here with many fests, cultural, DJ nights, Garba nights, etc. All clubs maintain the pace of functions here by doing many events. There are many sports tournaments and many of them are hosted by our University. So overall, I can say you enjoy each moment of your campus life here. It is just an amazing experience here.
