GU Greater Noida has a Dedicated Placement Cell (or Training & Placement Department)

Overall, this is a good University. It is budget friendly and gives quality of education as compared to others. This University gives you a wide exposure to develop the skills in each and every domain. Galgotias University, Greater Noida is connected with better road connectivity like Yamuna expressway and also airport like IGI and Jewar airport. This University has students from different countries like UAE, Nigeria, and Saudi Arabia which gives more exposure to culture share and learn from them.

This University offers various courses but i am enrolled in Master of Computer Application. The eligibility criteria for this course is Graduation in any stream but Computer Science is preferred. To get admission in this GU Greater Noida, you have to apply through their University website with form fee of Rs. 1200/- after that you will receive an offer letter of admission, then you have come to admission cell of this University to deposit the fee. After this, you will get admission slip after which you can come for regular class whenever you get notified via their communication channels. This university conducts two exams like midterms and end term and we have to score well in both exams.

The fee for my course is just Rs. 92,000/- per annum. The exam fee is Rs. 20,000/- and registration fee is Rs. 1200/- and identity card in Rs. 1000/-. I also got a scholarship of 15% on my graduation marks.

Here, all the faculties are from well reputed Colleges with good reputation like IITS, NITS, and Central Universities with most of them holding a Doctorate degree in their field while some are pursuing. They teach with both methods in white board also on smart board with PPTs and handwritten notes. The problem solving ability is amazing. They teach every concept well in simple way. The student faculty ratio in college is 1:70 in classrooms and 1:35 in labs.

The University has a dedicated Placement Cell. It is very active they started Internships in 2nd semester of my course and also collecting data for Pre-Placement Offers to students in my current semester. The Placement is average in Tech companies but good in Management field.

Galgotias University, Greater Noida offers accommodation facility to students with up to 1000 seats with both types of room like AC and Non AC. Here, both girls and boys hostel are available in separate buildings. The food provided in the mess is only Vegetarian. The food quality is average and is served four times which contains breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner.

This University provides great infrastructure with various labs, classrooms, seminar hall, playground, library, and computer centre to the students. This campus is situated near Yamuna Expressway. The classrooms are well maintained with smart boards so the students can learn well. They also provide transport facility to students to come from their hostel to the campus. My favourite area is the library which is enabled with AI for better support for students to study.

Campus life is awesome with more students enrolled in different courses from every part of the country even outside from the country like UAE, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria and many more. There are many clubs like GCC, NCC, etc.. I am also a part of NCC. The University organises so many activities based on social topics, science, and coding. This University gives great exposure on festival and celebration like freshers party and occasional fests. Overall, campus life is amazing.
