Fresher's Event at DCAC New Delhi is Referred as 'Navagaman'

I'm grateful to be a student of Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, New Delhi. This College comes in the South campus College of DU. Its campus lies in Moti Bagh, New Delhi which is a prime location. There is a metro nearby from where you can reach the College in 20 minutes on walking or 3 minutes via Auto. College crowd is admirable, as it is away from hustling roads and markets. Overall, it is a peaceful place with defence headquarters.

So, I chose B.Com (Hons.). The reason was that I was told by most of the people that DCAC New Delhi is among the top Colleges of South campus in Delhi University and that time as I was not sure how the environment and the crowd would be, but I found it really amazing. The course in itself is amazing with lots of practical exposure. Even by learning theories you will gain practical exposure as there are separate practical classes for excel and Tally. The College takes add on subjects very seriously. Overall, code structure is amazing plus the faculty is also supporting and experienced in their domains.

As this College comes under University of Delhi, its fees is not much high. It is very nominal for all courses and subject to the policies of Central Government. The fee for all DU Colleges is almost same except some charges which differ depending on the College's discretion.

At this College, you will get a fabulous faculty. All the faculties are highly proficient in their domains and most of them are Ph.D. holders. In my course, we have some authors as well who wrote their books and those books are for all the students. The faculty is very supportive, if you have any professional goal, they understand you and help you in every possible way.

I'm grateful to have a College like Delhi College of Arts & Commerce, New Delhi. Its campus is comparatively small in area as well as in development with two buildings only. There is an old building (For Arts Courses) and a new building (designed for Commerce students). There is small Gymnasium in the College with some exercise equipment. Play ground is not so big, as well as not so small. Seminar hall is probably amazing in comparison to lots of Colleges. Space is less but the vibe and stage is amazing with proper lighting and comfortable seats. The Library is something we are always proud of after the Journalism Course legacy. College library is among the best libraries of DU.

From my past experience, I can say it's a very good College. Societies are very active, hence you can expect parties, events, fun games, on every even day. The College always organize Freshers party (which is called Navagaman) and Annual Cultural Fest with a good budget every year. Campus vibes are amazing. There are Open stage dances, Nukkad Naatak, and Stalls on every occasion. Informative seminars are conducted every week. Sports activities and Inter-College Competitions are held every month. College has various active societies like Enactus, Vangati, Vyappar, Prakriti, and Ecolibrium. There are some Debating Societies and last but not the least NCC (National Cadet Corps). Overall, you get a good campus life experience.
