Overall Rating
MITS School of Biotechnology, Bhubaneswar is a well rated Institute. It is affiliated to Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. This is because of its powerful faculty and an active Placement Cell. Students feel it is okay and value for money with its decent fee structure. Actually, the size of the campus is not so big. It just primarily focuses on the academics and nothing else. But this campus is a great choice in Bhubaneswar.

Academics Rating
The course I chose was M.Sc in Biotechnology. The curriculum is moderately rated. The academics mostly focuses on the industry related topics and help you know even more about the Life Sciences. The main topics that the Institute focuses on are Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, and Bioprocess Engineering. Students are quietly satisfied by the academic curriculum and never complain a thing about the course. It also helps to step forward to do some project related work on it.
The total fee for my course is Rs. 1,45,000/- for 2 years. I think it includes all the fees.

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are the main pillars of the campus. The teachers are highly skilled and experienced. The primary focus of all the faculties is to make all the students knowledgeable enough to do more research in this field. Teachers' mentorship always helps the students to know more about the bioprocess and many more things every day. The teacher to student ratio is around 1:20. The teachers are not only skilled but also very friendly to all the students and non-teaching staffs.

Placement Rating
The Placements at MSB Bhubaneswar are okay. Big companies come to hire employees from here.

Hostel Rating
I am not a hosteller, so I do not have any idea about the hostel criteria and facilities provided inside the hostel. But hostel students are quite satisfied with the facilities provided.

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is kind of okay. The most advanced building is the lab building of my program. Same goes for the B.Sc. building. All the essential equipment is pretty much available in each room of the building. The campus also has digital classrooms which are Air-Conditioned. There are limited resources for the sports facilities and a small medical room for both, students and teachers.

Campus Rating
Overall, the campus of MITS School of Biotechnology, Bhubaneswar is decent and not too good or bad. The crowd is decent and all the students focus on their own work. There are no clubs in the campus as I told you before it mostly focuses on the academics. That is the reason why there is no fest arranged here. But a little amount of extra-curricular activities are done here. My experience in this Institute was somewhat good.

    Overall Rating
The overall reaction is pretty much decent. There is no such big thing or small thing that I can share you about. The main reason of choosing MITS School of Biotechnology Bhubaneswar is nothing but the affordability and the experienced faculties present over here. There are no different things that are located there in this campus that makes it unique from the other campus. If you have a very keen interest in Biotechnology then you should be very much careful in selecting your Institute.... Read Full Review
