Overall Rating
The overall reaction is pretty much decent. There is no such big thing or small thing that I can share you about. The main reason of choosing MITS School of Biotechnology Bhubaneswar is nothing but the affordability and the experienced faculties present over here. There are no different things that are located there in this campus that makes it unique from the other campus. If you have a very keen interest in Biotechnology then you should be very much careful in selecting your Institute.
 

Academics Rating
My course was M.Sc in Biotechnology. The academic courses are very much advanced. My course mostly follows the study of Bioinformatics, Biochemical Engineering, and Molecular Biology. The admission process is pretty easy, and you can check it on the website if you want the more information about it. The exams conducted here are periodic and it happens mostly semester-wise. The course provided here helps students to know more about the biological process that occurs around us and know about its merits and demerits.
The fee structure is quite simple. For my course, it takes around Rs. 1,80,000/- for the two years' time. The hostel fee structure is different, and is present on the website.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties that are present in this campus, particularly my course are very much skilled and experienced. The teachers here are educated from famous and top Universities of India. Most faculties teach through PPTs and their personal notes. Their notes are highly recommendable, especially for exams and higher studies. The problem-solving ability of all the faculties is top-notch. The teacher to student ratio here is 1:20. The bond between teachers and all the students is very good.
 

Placement Rating
The Placement Cell is not very active. It is mostly run by the senior students. The average package is around 3 to 4 LPA. The highest package can be extended up to 5 LPA. Big and renowned companies come for recruiting students.
 

Hostel Rating
Actually, I am a dayscholar. However, I know that MSB Bhubaneswar does have residential facilities. for boys and girls, there are different hostels. I do not know much about the hostel facilities and mess hygiene.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus building blocks are not so huge as it is build across 1.269 acres of land. MSB Bhubaneswar, but it is alright. The campus size is decent because it mostly consists of the academic buildings and the laboratory buildings. It is situated near the town. The area is very busy. The classrooms are digital with a projector attached. The classrooms also do have the Air-Condition system. The library consists of all the essential and important books, novels and test papers. The campus auditorium is very much big and well-spaced.
 

Campus Rating
If you ask me about my campus life, then I would say that it is okay. When I joined MITS School of Biotechnology Bhubaneswar, I did not have much expectation from the Institute’s lifestyle but when I started my classes, some were disappointed, but for me it was good. The crowd is not so much. All the students mind their business. No one disturbs you at all. There are no clubs as per my knowledge inside the campus. Fests are rarely held for all the students. So, if you only want to study, then you are welcome to the campus.
