A College Full of Fests: LNMIIT Jaipur

Overall Rating
I am in 2nd year and my experience in LNMIIT, Jaipur is overall good both academically as well as in University life terms, as the crowd in my here is very good and the infrastructure is also quite decent. I chose this University, as my rank in JEE Main was around 68,000 and this was the best private University I was getting at this rank. This University has better Placement stats despite other private Universities which I was getting. Also, the campus size is also good and it was near to my hometown.
 

Academics Rating
The course in which I am enrolled is Electronics and Communication Engineering. Eligibility criteria for this University was a percentile above 90 in the entrance exam. You get seat in this University solely on your rank and no Management quota nor any kind of reservation. The exam frequency is like every other Engineering University which is one mid sem, one end term, and quizzes in between. Academics are aligned with industry requirements and gets modified according to companies requirements.
My fee for four years is Rs. 28,00,000/- which includes tuition, mess, hostel, and many other charges. There is no special concession in fees but if you perform well in academics and maintain a good CGPA above 9.25 you can get some concession. Moreover, there are also Scholarship for BPL candidates.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of my branch are well qualified. Most of them had done their studies from IITs and almost all faculties are Ph.D. holders. The lectures are mostly conducted in English. There are big lecture halls well-equipped with green boards and projectors for PPT and faculties teach using any of the method according to their choice. There are enough faculties for every branch like for each course there are minimum 3 faculties. The teachers are friendly and help in clearing concepts outside the classes. We can approach them in their designated office rooms in the campus.
 

Placement Rating
There is Training and Placement Cell in the University which helps in conducting the Placement drives. They also have connection with companies and set up according to company requirements. The complete process is fair and transparent for students. Many reputable companies visit the campus for Placements as well as Internship offers.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes the University has four boys’ hostel and 1 girl’s hostel. Boys’ and girls’ hostels are separate .The mess food is decent. Hygiene is completely taken care of. We get meals four times a day and the menu of mess is decided by the students’ council and gets changed after every 2 months according to seasons. Hostel fee is around Rs. 80,000/- or more. My hostel experience is wonderful as washrooms and corridors rooms are well maintained with proper equipment.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In the academic block there are LT's where lectures take place. Different labs are also in the academic area. Campus size is 100 acres. The University is situated on the outskirts of Jaipur. The classrooms are very big and spacious and all are equipped with charging sockets beneath their seats. There is a big library with 3 halls. The University did not have an auditorium but a new auditorium project is approved and is in construction. There are well maintained courts for Badminton, Lawn Tennis, etc. The University also has a medical unit with a doctor visiting daily. There is a small canteen also.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is elegant. The crowd is good. There are many clubs related to every domain for example DEBSOC, Vignette, Imagination and I am part of all these clubs. There are many competitions of clubs in which you can learn so much from them. There are three fests organised in the which are ‘Vivacity’, ‘Desportivos’, ‘Plinth’ and all of them are fabulous. Campus life is very good seniors are helpful and batch mates are kind. Moreover, faculties are cooperative.

  • A Wonderful Experience at LNMIIT, Jaipur

    I had many doubts while choosing this college in the year 2023, however upon consulting many seniors I finally decided to go with it. 1 year later, I can confidently say that I don't regret my decision even a bit. Overall the college has a mixed variety of students and professors. Some are very studious and go to the library daily, others focus more on non-academic areas.   • Choose LNMIIT Jaipur for Computer Science and Engineering

    I am a fourth year undergrad at LNMIIT Jaipur. I chose this course because being in the general category, the best you can get in the 97-98 percentile categories is CSE. The placements here are at par with any good institute. It is a tier 1.5 institute. The coding culture is decent, although it is you that defines the culture.     Reputable for its good placements and merit-based admissions, LNMIIT is a semi-government institute located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. I like its competitive crowd, lack of reservations and focused environment.
