HIT Kolkata has Excellent Infrastructure & Atmosphere

Overall Rating
Overall HIT Kolkata provides everything, which makes a student industry ready. My Institute has great environment and facility which one can take advantage of becoming great in every aspect of life or in any field. If one is willing to take admission in this Institute, then I would highly recommend this Institute to all the students.
 

Academics Rating
I got this Institute and my branch through merit based counseling. My branch is CSE (AIML). I think I am somewhat lucky because I also wanted this same branch as it is on trend currently as AI ML is currently ruling the tech field. You can take admission in this Institute either by WBJEE or direct admission.
The fee of my branch is approximately Rs. 6,00,000/- for 8 semesters until my graduation.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties or professor teaching in my branch are quite knowledgeable and come from a strong academic background. Some of them have Graduated from higher Indian Institutes and some of them have done Ph.D from renowned Government Institutes. They have the potential to make us industry ready. The teacher to student ratio is approximately 1:8. Apart from teaching, the teachers are quite friendly and humorous which makes us feel comfortable.
 

Placement Rating
The Placement Cell of Heritage Institute of Technology is very much active and consists of a great alumni network.
 

Hostel Rating
As our Institute is situated in mid town area so hostel facilities are only available for girls and that also for specific courses.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Institute spans across 8.03 acres and has multiple entrance gates. It consists of a Swimming Pool, Football Ground, Cricket Pitch, Canteen, Library, Conference Halls, Auditorium, Large Projector Classrooms, Labs, Seminar Halls, and many more. Apart from sports, it has Medical and Transportation facilities too. The favorite thing which I love the most about my Institute is its infrastructure.
 

Campus Rating
As currently I am in 2nd year of my campus, life feels overall amazing and decent. The Institute crowd is somewhat decent size. There are multiple clubs such as Eco, sports, NGO, etc. No currently, I am not a part in any of these but surely in future. Yes, there are extracurricular activities which are organised by HIT Kolkata.

    I got this institute based on WBJEE counseling through my JEE Main rank which was around 1,00,000. If you are someone looking for a decent institute in Kolkata, you can prefer this one but if you can afford going to Bangalore or Noida side then consider going there.     So basically I study in Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata. Our institute is located in the east Kolkata side, in Anandapur, Ruby area. The campus area of our institute is very good.     If you didn't score well in your JEE or WBJEE, then you can choose this college. Maybe it’s the best private college in Kolkata. Placement here is decent and the faculty members are average. The campus is big and many companies visit for placement although average package is not too much but as tier 3 college it’s a good option.... Read Full Review

    Overall the Institute is beautiful. The location of Institute is perfect with good campus area. I would recommend people to join this Institute. If you don’t get Jadavpur then this Institute should be your second choice. It was a good decision to join this Institute. Here people of same intellect are found with whom you can vibe.
