Beyond Degrees: The PCE Navi Mumbai Campus Life

Overall Rating
PCE Navi Mumbai is a very good Engineering College. It has proper balance between co-curricular activities and education which create a great blend of competition and learning environment in student’s life. My experience as a student was good. The vibe here is enthusiastic and cheerful. My College was started in 1999. One of the main thing is that all the courses of this College are recognised by AICTE & UGC.
 

Academics Rating
I choose this B.Tech course in this College because of the demand in the job market and excellent academics in this institute. Eligibility criteria for entry are that one must secure more than 92 percentile in the CET examination and which can vary every year. Admission process is simple in the College. Once you got selected in the CAP then you have to contact with co-ordinator who will let you know about the documents submission which is mandatory to submit during the admission time. Exams are frequently taken each semester and have total two exams.
A fee is Rs. 1,46,000/- yearly which includes tuition fees and Rs. 25,000/- is caution money which will be refunded after 4 years. The registration fees was Rs. 1000/-. There are scholarships categories wise and EBC Scholarship program are also available.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are very experienced. Many of them had their Ph.D degree in their particular subjects. They try to teach us in effective manner so that topics would be clearer. They use black board and make sure that we understand the topic. They try to solve every problem and doubts we had during the sessions. There are 5 subjects in each branch and each subject has one teacher. The approximate ratio of teacher students is 1:60. Faculties are very friendly and supportive as you can message them regarding your doubts. There are 5 teachers for one subject and we can ask our doubt to any teacher as they are always ready to help.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is placement cell in our College. I have talked to one of my senior and she told me that they help students in acquiring job. Companies like Flipkart, TCS, etc had come to our College for hiring last year.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, they provide accommodations to students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The College has libraries where many books are available and a student can simply access them. PCE Navi Mumbai is established on 16 acres. Classrooms are very neat and clean. The academic facility which has been provided to us in the College is really good. My favourite thing about the College is that this campus is surrounded by the mountains.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is really very good. I have enthusiastic classmate, supportive teachers, and helping seniors which create a better experience for me in the College. The crowd here is very good and focused towards studies while balancing other activities. There are many Clubs where students can follow their passion like Singing, Dancing, Acting, etc. There are many activities happening in the College which creates a proper blend of healthy and competitive environment for the students which will help them in growing.

    The college is well equipped with good Infrastructure and cleanliness. It is now an Autonomous college, so it mainly focuses on Project Based Learning which helps students to develop different types of skills. College encourages students to take part in every extracurricular activity like sports. Campus is good and properly maintained.     The college is average with above average facilities. I recommend this college only after you've exhausted all your other options and can't get into one as the cutoffs are very competitive in nature.
