JSS Academy of Technical Education MBA Review By Tushar Pahadiwal

JSS Academy of Technical Education is a private technical institute in Noida and this institute is affiliated to the Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow. My experience in the college was good and I was amazed by the number of students who got placed in the institute. This institute is graded A by the NAAC. Fee for the MBA course is around 1.10 Lakhs per year but we can reduce it up to Rs. 80,000 based on the marks in the CUET exam and this can be reduced to 30000 per year we get the fee waiver seats in the college. I choose this institute because I heard that the placements in the JSS are very good and we get a lot of opportunities in the institute. If someone looking for the good opportunity in their life and want to work hard can join this institute and this college will not disappoint you.

I choose to study in MBA so I enrolled in this stream and in MBA the placements was also good at that time. To be eligible for the MBA we need to complete the graduation in any branch from any university approved by the University Grant Commission. Minimum marks in graduation should be sixty percent to get in JSSATE Noida and after the graduation we need to appear for the Combined University Entrance Test conducted by the UGC for the admission in various course in universities. There are four semesters in MBA and each semester was easy to qualify and in semester we need to complete article ship in a semester to get good placements and there are many assignments in every semester. My motivation for this program was the higher profile to be placed and I can get more opportunities by doing MBA.

Faculty members are better than much private college in Delhi NCR. In MBA most of the subjects are taught by presentation and there is no theory teaching way so all the subjects we learn from the Presentation. Level of hardness of each subject is moderate and it is very easy to understand the subjects. Financial Management was my favorite subject due to the faculty member who taught me this subject because they taught us in a great way such that even very weak students can also learn the subjects. There are no practical in this course as were in my graduation but in this course we have to do assignment and submit to the teachers and teacher in the institute also gives the internal marks. The teachers who taught me were all highly qualifies and all of them were research scholars and some of them did job in very reputed companies of the world.

Since placements were my main focus for the admission in the institute so my expectation were very high in the college but sometimes good things takes time. Like I was qualifies to sit in the hiring process from the starting of the third semester and companies started to visit the campus and I applied in all of them and one by one I got rejected from every company. Sometimes I was rejected from the written test and sometimes from the Group discussion round and sometimes from the interview itself. I counted my failure and I was rejected 20 times from the companies I finally got selected in 21st company in which I applied for a good package. Highest package in my college in my batch was around 20 Lakhs per annum offered by Adobe and the average package was of 5.6 Lakh per annum since majority of the students get placed for the package of around 4 Lakh per annum.

I was residing in college hostel because it was good and staying the college hostel gives us many good moments and memories to remember. There were two types of rooms were available in the college hostels and each college hostel has a name. Hostel fee is around 1 Lakh per annum for the non AC room and around 1.2 Lakh for a year for AC room with all the basic things in the room. Room size is also good and two students can easily live in a room. Hostel mess is a total mess where only few days in a month we get good food and on other days I do not feel that I can eat the food. It is not mandatory to live in the college hostel we can also choose to live outside the hostel where we can get the same at the price of around 85000 per year which is also not affordable for a middle class student.

There are many facilities for the students in the JSS and the architecture of the academic and non academic blocks in the college are very good and they look like very recently made building. Sports facilities like Lawn Tennis, Cricket Ground, Table Tennis and indoor badminton court and one indoor sports facility and basketball and volleyball court. In my course there were no labs required but there were workshops and I was the workshops and they were made very beautifully and they are well maintained even after the 25 years from the beginning of the college. All the classrooms are air conditioned in the campus and all the classrooms are also adapted the digital learning techniques. Other than these college has much more to offer like there is auditorium, central library, gym, multipurpose complex, Wi-Fi campus, anti ragging campus, clean campus, medical facility.

My experience at the JSS Noida was very satisfying because I got placed in a good company. Talking about the clubs in the college then there are many clubs in the institute based on your interest you can apply for the club membership and it is free. Some of the most famous clubs in the college are Design Club, Dance Society, Public Speaking Cell, Entrepreneurship Development Club, Innovators Corner, Coder's club etc. Crowd in the JSS is very good and the relation with the seniors is very strong and the people here in the JSS are very supportive. One annual fest called ZELICON happen each year in the institute, this is a three day event in which one way student take participation and on the second day there is celebrity night in the campus and they only stay till 11 Pm and on the third day there is a DJ night in the institute. All the events are managed by the college authorities.
