I am currently pursuing Law at Amity University, Gurgaon. The environment here feels so warm and welcoming. The teachers are extremely helpful and supportive. The classes are so engaging. If you’re struggling to get Internships, teachers even help by using their connections. It has beautiful infrastructure. Placements are good here. One important thing I’ve learned is never miss an opportunity. Personal growth and personality development are things you can work on individually.

I chose this course because I want to build a strong foundation in Legal knowledge. The other reason for which I have enrolled myself in this course is that I have keen interest in Justice and Advocacy. The eligibility criteria for admission are you have to score 50% to 60% in your 12th minimum and the scholarship will be divided based on their 12th results. Exams are conducted semester wise ensuring the evaluation based on course equipment with the practical skills, case analyse and problem solving abilities to handle real life Legal challenges effectively.

The total fee for my course is semester wise and the total course fee is around Rs.15,00,000/- for 10 semesters. There are no other extra charges for admission purpose. They provide scholarships on the basis of their 12th grade and if someone scores 93% in 12th standard will get 100% scholarship, 88% scorer students will get 50% scholarship and candidated with 80% will get 25% scholarship. To maintain that scholarship you need to be among the top 10% students in the class each semester.

The faculties have strong academic and professional background. They have published their research paper and their own book. Most of them advance degree holders with industry experience. They use diverse teaching method such as some use blackboard while others use PPTs and some of them announce group discussions with Case studies learning. They give the example of cases that how to solve the case using different methods. Teachers are approachable and supportive. They always guide you. They help you to understand even if you repeating the same query they are ready to explain it you. They have good problem solving ability with good amount of patience to deal with students.

Yes, Amity University, Gurgaon offer placements to the students. It has a dedicated Placement Cell which helps the student to secure job in the Industry. The cell conducts Career counseling, Skill development workshops, Interview round preparations and resume building session. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, etc.

Yes, they provide accommodations to the students. They have separate hostel for girls and boys. They provide facilities which include mess, Wi-Fi Canteen and departmental store. Girls hostel contain TV rooms, Dance room, Pool room also and many more the activities in campus to keep students engage. Sports facilities are also available which students can enjoy. Mess food is good. The fees charges for AC hostel is Rs. 15,000/- and for non AC its Rs. 85,000/- annually. The fees include the laundry charges. The hostel In timing is 9:30 PM. To go outside, you have to make the out pass online and hostel warden will approve only then can go out for an outing.

It has a beautiful and spacious campus. It is surrounded by the mountains which makes it peaceful and refreshing. The academic buildings are modern as well as it is designed with the comfortable classrooms. They also have library which has lot of books and journals. The resources they provide are really helpful for research and study. The Law department has Moot court halls. We have four blocks and each one of them has its own auditoriums and they are generally the B-Block auditorium, C-Block auditorium, D- Block auditorium and A-Block auditorium. Mostly my classes were in B-block. They have sports facilities, 24/7 available medical support, and tight security. My favorite place in the campus was Moot court because of its ambience.

My overall experience is very good. It is not crowded. There are very less student so the teachers can focus on every individual. There are so many clubs which students can join. There are clubs like ‘Bhangra Rifle club’, ‘Musical society’, ‘Udaan Mission’, and many more where student can engage. As for the campus it is one of the most beautiful campuses. It is surrounded by mountains which make it incredibly beautiful.
