AMPGC Varanasi: Academics, Classrooms And Many More

Overall Rating
My overall experience in AMPGC Varanasi is good. It appears small from the front view but it is pretty huge campus. It has all the facilities like Playgrounds, Gyms, Library, and Digital Library. The College is not that diverse but still celebrates every culture. It has high security for girls.
 

Academics Rating
Overall academics here are good. The eligibility criteria are pretty simple and any students who have taken the CUET UG/PG test can apply for admission. Admission process takes place in five rounds and there are two kinds of seats which are paid seats and unpaid seats. The normal seat has a regular fees (varies from course to course). The College is more on theory world and a little less on real life challenges.
My course is M.Com and the fee structure for my course is Rs. 25,000/- for Government Quota. It offers scholarship to the Meritorious & Financially Weak Students. They also provide UP scholarship to the students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are helpful and co-operative. The faculty in Commerce department is highly qualified. Either they have completed their Ph.D from BHU or they are JRF Holders. They are very well disciplined. The classes happen on regular basis. They have great problem solving ability and even conducts one on one interaction with the students. In my class room teacher to student ratio is also good. They also make sure that the students understand a concept clearly by providing extra classes.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, AMPGC Varanasi offer placements to the students. Department of Commerce has a Placement Cell which is active. They invite companies to the College for hiring from On-Campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is pretty huge with all the facilities possible. There are 2 buildings. The classroom has blackboards and table benches. Classes in new building even have projectors and they use it on regular basis for presentations. The campus has Library, Cyber Library, Gym, Lab, Seminar Halls, Canteen, Sports room, Grounds, Transport, Security, and many more. My favorite part is the conference room and the library.
 

Campus Rating
My overall experience is good. The College has clubs like Economics Club, Literature Club, Sports Club and many more. It also has NSS club. It engages students in activities like Zumba and National Level Seminars. I haven’t attended any Events for now.

    Arya Mahila Post Graduate College (AMPGC), established in 1956. It is affiliated to Banaras Hindu University. This college is dedicated to women's education in Chetganj, Varanasi. It provides high quality education and infrastructure with minimum fees of Rs. 10,800 and additional fee of Rs. 500 for practical like Psychology in comparison and well supportive faculty.
