WIT Dehradun: Events, Clubs and Many More

Overall Rating
My overall experience in WIT Dehradun is good. It has been a journey of growth, learning, personality development, boosting self confidence, and many more. The factors that made me choose this Institution was that it is a Government all girls Institution. The environment of this Institution for women is very safe.
 

Academics Rating
I enrolled in B.Tech. I chose this because I have keen interest in Technology and to move specifically in the Technical excites me. For admission process you must pass JEE Main exam in the Institution. They have in total 120 seats. It has 3 rounds for counseling and after that they will give you a welcome letter. In this course you have to give 2 exams and the average is counted of these 2 and one end semester exams. The academics will prepare us for the real life challenges. They have well equipped labs.
The fee structure for my course is around Rs. 3,00,000/-. There is a reserved seat for TWS students in each branch in the course that give a concession of tuition fee and you have to give Rs. 28,000/- every year. They provide scholarships to the student like Pragati, Kalyan, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are helpful and co-operative. We have the faculty for each subject in each course. Some faculties are permanent while other are guest faculties The faculty members are well educated and knowledgeable. They teach through all the methods mostly in smart boards and sometimes through PPTs. They have great problem solving ability. They also prepare us for the entrance exams. The student teacher ratio is about 2:5 approx. They are approachable anytime and anywhere. They guide us.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, WIT Dehradun offer placements to the students. There is a Placement Cell in our Institution. Placements start from 6th to 8th semester. Companies like Accenture, Wipro, HCL, TCS, Infosys, Samsung, and more visits Institution for hiring.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Institution has a good infrastructure. They provide well equipped lab facilities and workshop facilities. It provides grounds for all kind of Sports like Basketball, Volleyball, Kho Kho, Kabaddi, and many more. The infrastructure is quite good and they also provide a good seminar hall and a auditorium. They have good space.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life was great. I would rate it 7 out of 10. There are so many clubs like Tech Club, Sports Club, Literary Club, Cultural Club, Digital Media Club, and many more. They conduct extra curriculum activities like Sports, Cultural Events, Fests and Technical Competition, Hackathons etc. An annual Fest conducts every year.

    My experience in this Instiute has been a combination of learning, failing and personal growth.
