Library of GRIET Hyderabad is Developed Over 1058 Square Metre Area

The campus of the Institute is beautiful and the placements are great as well. This Institute is also among the top Institutions in Telangana. The faculty is friendly and overall you can both enjoy and study at this Institute. Excellent placement opportunities are provided by the Institution. These were also crucial factors which made choose this Institution.

The course I have chosen is B.Tech CSE (AI ML) via Government seat in EAMCET; I think It requires a rank of about 5000 in this exam to get admission in this Institution. We have a standard curriculum, containing 2 mid semester exams and an end of semester exam every 6 months. Each semester consists of 4 to 5 theory subjects and 3 to 4 practical subjects. When it comes to practical lab, we do a task every session, note it in our observation book and get it checked by the end of that session as well. We also have to do a project at the end of the semester on the topics we have learned so far. Overall, the curriculum is good.

I got in via free seat through EAMCET exams, where the complete fee of around Rs. 1,30,000/- is paid by government. But every year, we pay few extra fee which varies branch wise ranging between Rs. 3000/- to Rs. 6000/-.

The faculty is average, considering the current standards but they are friendly. The teaching methods are decent where they explain the PPTs on the board and assign an assessment whenever a chapter completes.

The Training and Placement Cell in GRIET Hyderabad is like the backbone of this Institute. The placements have been improving. You get specialised training for placements from the start of the second year, which can very useful to crack the company interviews.

GRIET Hyderabad has 4 blocks, where the first block is for coursework of all the students of CSE and it holds the Training and Placement Cell as well. Second block is related for AI/ML, CSDS, CSBS, and other Computer related branches. The third being for the first year students and the fourth one is for branches like ECE, EEE, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. The campus infrastructure is good, with the labs containing every component that is required. Library of the Institute is also huge as it covers 1058 square metre of land/

Overall, my campus life is great. The Institute organises a flagship event every semester where we can have a great time with friends. The crowd is mixed. Many clubs are also present at the Institute & and I am part of some of the clubs.
