My overall experience at Amity University Jaipur has been mostly good. I mainly chose this Institution because of its infrastructure, lab facilities, and the Bioinformatics course structure, which combines both Biology and Technology. The students here come from different backgrounds, which help in personal growth. I feel this University is suitable for all the students who want to study, become successful have fun.

I chose B.Tech in Bioinformatics because I was interested in both Biology & Computer based analysis, especially in areas like Genetics and Data Handling. The eligibility criteria required here is a Science background with Biology and the admission process which includes counselling and document verification which was smooth. Exams are conducted every semester along with internal assessments, and assignments which makes the understanding of concepts easier. Some subjects are challenging initially, but with regular study and guidance they become manageable and useful for real life applications.

The fees for the courses are paid semester-wise and include tuition fee, registration charges and other academic fees. Apart from this, there are some additional charges like examination fees. The University also provides scholarships based on academic performance and merit. Fee details are explained clearly during the admission process.

The faculty members in my department are knowledgeable and mostly experienced in their respective subjects. Many teachers have strong academic background and research experience. Teaching methods include classroom lectures, PPT presentations, lab sessions, and group discussions. Most teachers are approachable and they are willing to help us even after class hours. The student-to-teacher ratio is decent, so doubts can be cleared easily. This motivates us to improve rather than just focus on exams.

Amity University Jaipur has a placement cell that supports us through training and career guidance programmes. Companies from IT, Biotech and Research fields visit the Campus for recruitment. Packages depend on every single student's performance and skills, with average and higher packages varying across different courses. Although I'm still studying, the placement-related activities have helped me understand how to approach companies for the near future.

The University offers residential facilities, and they are separate for girls and boys. In total, there are three hostels on the Campus. One is for girls, one for boys and one is for senior boys. Including all, they provide accommodation for more than 3000 individuals. There are badminton courts, open grounds, and even opportunities for horse riding, which many students enjoy on weekends after classes. The hostel fee is about Rs. 70,000/- annually and this only includes room charges. The gates close at 10:00 PM every night, and we are expected to be back by then. From my personal experience, staying here has been mostly positive.

The infrastructure is good and helpful for students. The Campus is of 152 acres and has enough open space, so it does not feel crowded. The academic buildings are well maintained, and classes are conducted smoothly without seating issues. Several individuals, including me, prefer studying in the library during exams because it is peaceful there. The labs are available for different courses according to the syllabus, which helps in understanding practical subjects better. The University also has seminar halls and an auditorium where events, workshops and guest lectures are organised.

The crowd is friendly, so it is easy to make friends and adjust, especially in the first year. There are various clubs related to cultural activities, sports, technical interests and social work. We can join these clubs based on their interests and participate in various events and competitions. They regularly organise activities like workshop seminars, competitions and awareness programmes. Annual fests and cultural events are one of the highlights of my experience. These events bring a lot of energy to the Institution and give students a break from regular classes. Overall, my Campus life has also been positive. It helps in personal growth, meeting new people and learning teamwork along with academics.
