B.A.LL.B Admission at Amity University Jaipur is Via CLAT Scores

Amity University Jaipur is a well-established and renowned Private University. It offers various degrees and Diploma courses ranging from Psychology, Fashion Technology, Law, etc. I completed my degree in the year 2025. The University provides the feel of a student-run campus. From the admission process to the graduation, the administration and the faculty provides guidance to the students. The staff has helped in every way possible since Day 1. During my 5 years, I saw myself developing with the University. The Dean and the faculty are all well-committed and have high expertise in what they do. Good faculty was one of the reasons why I chose this University. It has everything at one place including the best teaching facilities, well- established Library, Moot court, etc. Amity is preferable over others as it is an established legacy and has a strong alumni base. If you are looking for a good University in Jaipur, this might be your place.

I have done BA.LL.B (Hons.) in Corporate Law from AUR Jaipur. It is a 5-year integrated course that provides both B.A and LL.B degree. Law always fascinated me and so I chose this course. It offers 3 types of courses for under graduation in law including Bachelor in Arts, Commerce, and Business Administration with LL.B degree. One has the option to choose from different specialisations for their Honours such as Corporate, IPR, Criminal, Constitutional, etc. It also offers Masters in all the given specialisations. One can get admission into this course by appearing for the CLAT exam or even directly after 12th. Admission is smooth and simple. One can directly go on the University’s website and start the admission process or visit the University and complete it there. 5 years of law are divided into 10 semesters and each semester includes 5 to 6 subjects. There are mid-sem exams, class tests, assignments, and end-sem exams. Exams are nothing to stress about and one gets to focus on building knowledge and not just academics.

For my course, the fees is charged semester wise and the total fee of the course costs approximately Rs. 10,00,000/-. It includes Tuition fees, Administration fees, etc. Students also have to pay a certain amount of Security Deposit which is refunded after the graduation is completed. Various scholarships are also provided. The amount of scholarship depends on 12th results, which is continued if a certain grade range is maintained in each semester. Students also receive merit-based scholarships during the course of their degree.

For the Law department, we had teachers for each specialisation. A teacher with specialisation in Corporate Law would teach all of the subjects related to Corporate Law. All the faculty members had good educational background and were well-qualified. Each semester, a group of 10 to15 students were assigned to a teacher who would become their mentor. The mentor gave weekly reviews on students’ performances and helped the students with any problems they faced. Teaching method included PPTs and real-life scenarios. They are very friendly and always eager to help the students with their doubts.

The Amity University Jaipur campus is luscious green and spreads across 152 acres of land. It is surrounded by trees and also has a Neem forest. There are Sports facilities and Entertainment nights at the Amphitheatre. The University is located in a segregated part of the Jaipur but it provides the students everything that is necessary. One might find commuting a little difficult but there are University buses that run on a daily basis.

Overall campus life is good. One can find their passion here as there are various opportunities that the University offers in both academic and non-academic field. There are several Clubs for Dance, Drama, Singing, Horse Riding, etc. Sports Tournament is organised every year wherein all the departments compete against each other in various sports. An annual fest is also organised by the students. The University conducts different seminars for the students. There is a 5-day Military Training Camp wherein students spend 5 days like a Military man. I was a day-scholar and yet was able to participate in all kinds of activities. So, if you are determined enough, you would find your way through it.
