Admission in Aurobindo College (Evening) New Delhi B.A (Hons.) is Through CUET UG Exam

My overall experience at Sri Aurobindo College (Evening) New Delhi is pretty decent, both academically and personally. They also provide all the essential needs that we all require. My reason for choosing this Institution is its reputation regarding the courses; they prepare us not just for exam, but for practical world. The faculty is so helpful and the atmosphere here is student friendly. This is the main reason which makes it different from other Colleges. We feel motivated here.

I chose B.A (Hons.) in Economics as my course. My motive to enrol in this degree is to gain knowledge about economics. This stream opens diverse career opportunities in areas such as Finance, Research, and Analytics. Entry requirements are qualifying the CUET-UG examination and you must meet the cut-off. Admission process in this College is simple and student friendly which is conducted through Delhi University Portal where we need to register and upload required documents. There are semester wise examinations. Academics here prepares us for real life challenges by emphasising analytical, critical thinking and data interpretation skills.

The fee for my course is paid year wise which is Rs. 13,070/-. Here tuition fees is Rs. 180/-, admission & registration fee is Rs. 7840/- and other miscellaneous charges . PwD students have full relief on fee because they only have to pay Rs. 95/- per year in Sri Aurobindo College (Evening) New Delhi.

The faculty members teaching my course are highly qualified and experienced. They ensure that syllabus is being covered thoroughly. They come from strong background and most of them are highly educated, and holding a doctorate degree from Delhi University itself. Their teaching methods include blackboard, PPT, group discussion, which help to explain complex concepts easily. The professors have strong problem solving abilities. Student-to-teacher ratio in this College is well balanced and each one of them has at most 30 individuals. My experience with faculty members is good and we can easily reach out to them.

The campus has an active placement cell which function properly. They help students by circulating information about internships and job openings. The Institution conducts various activities regarding placements such as career guidance sessions, resume building workshops, interview preparation sessions, and webinars with industry professionals. Companies that visit Sri Aurobindo College (Evening) New Delhi for recruitments are generally small firms, NGO's, and other entry level companies.

The academic blocks house lecture halls, faculty rooms, administrative offices, etc., basically it has a very well organised structure. The campus is moderate in size and it is located in Malviya Nagar. The classrooms are spacious and ventilated. All academic facilities were available like library, labs, seminar hall, auditorium, conference hall, etc. The College canteen offers affordable and hygienic food. Some sports facilities are also available here. The Institution is well-connected by buses and metro services. My favourite place here is the library. Overall, it provides a supportive and functional infrastructure.

My overall campus life here has been calm. Since classes are generally conducted in the evening, the atmosphere is relatively quiet. The crowd is diverse where students come from different states. The College has a few societies like placement cell, Ecoshastra, Filmalaya, etc. I am a part of Ecosharstra. The Institution organises various engagement activities like seminars, workshops, quizzes, debates, poster-making competitions, and awareness drives. They also conduct various annual cultural events and departmental programs. Overall, my experience here has been satisfactory and meaningful.
