Review of KLN college of engineering

Overall Rating
Till now my overall experience of KLN College of Engineering is good. The college is in 11km distance from the main city Madurai. It's about 30 minutes travel distance. I choose this Institute due to its good academic results and high placement percentage. My department is EEE and I took this department due to my interest in electrical field.
 

Academics Rating
My department is EEE (electrical and electronics engineering). It's a very good department and one of the very well accredited departments of KLN College of Engineering. Our department has been accredited 5 times. The most of the faculties are very well experienced. Our department has its own library, seminar hall and all the labs are very good with enough equipment and components.
 

Faculty Rating
In my department most of them are above 15 years of teaching experience and our HOD of the department is experienced around 32 years. All are very well qualified with many of them being doctorate holders. Their style of teaching is also very good. They have lots of methods to keep the student attentive and focused during the class hours.
 

Placement Rating
KLN College of Engineering placement cell is very active. They take lots of step to bring maximum companies for the campus placements. Last year around 20 companies came for placement with most of the companies being IT companies. The average package was around 3 to 3.5 LPA. The top companies were TCS, Infosys, HCL.
 

Hostel Rating
Our hostel is very good. It has all the facilities needed for the student. It has gym facilities, sports room for students, library to study for students, TV room to watch TV. The mess facilities are also good with hygiene food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our campus infrastructure is very good. The college is spread around 37 acres. The college has multiple sports facilities, gym, and indoor stadium. All the department has its own building with all the facilities in it. The wi-fi facility is throughout the campus. Our college also has health care centre for students in case of any treatment required for students.
 

Campus Rating
Overall we can enjoy our 4 years in this college. The college has all the facilities. It conducts frequent fests like cultural day, sports day, graduation day, hostel day. All the department conducts frequent symposium also to develop students’ soft skills. In national science day mini project competition also conducted with cash prizes.

    I got this college through counseling. This college is 10 km outward to main Madurai city. I got to know about this college through my brother who graduated in 2020. This college is overall a good engineering college in Madurai surroundings. It has good placement percentage. The fee is also very much affordable than other colleges.     I was allotted KLN College of Engineering through TNEA counseling. Our college is one of the top 3 colleges in the surrounding Madurai district. I chose the ECE department since I had a personal interest in the electronics side. I also had an interest in VLSI and the embedded field.     I choose KLNCE through the TNEA counselling and due to its good reputation in both the academics and the placement wise. I got this college through counselling. Before taking admission I asked to various students studying in the college, they all gave good comments about the college.     I got KLN College of Engineering through the counselling process. I had applied various colleges in the TNEA counselling, I had got this college through that. After that I also asked about the College to alumni and gave good things about the College. I got the seat in the 2nd round counselling.     It's been almost 2 years since I had joined KLN College of Engineering. My overall experience was good. I got admission through counselling. The eligibility for the counselling is 50 percentage aggregate marks in 12th. For counselling quota last year the cut off was around 170 to 173. The overall placement percentage is also good, it's almost 70 percentage.... Read Full Review
