My Opinion on JNU Jaipur: One of the Best Private Universities in Rajasthan

Overall Rating
For me, Jaipur National University is the excellent University and the overall experience is excellent from my side. I chose this University because it is the number 1 Private University in Rajasthan and has high expertise faculty. It is the first University in Rajasthan with AI-enabled campus and also famous on Google as well. Moreover, it has NAAC A+ accreditation.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Sc course because I wanted to go into a non-Medical field and do Ph.D. It offers courses at UG This course is very helpful for my future because in this course, I can study my core subjects. The admission process is simple and there are no entry requirements or eligibility criteria for this course. Exams for all courses are held on fixed dates as per the University calendar. The academics prepared me well for real life challenges.
The annual fees of my course is Rs. 38,000/- which includes tuition fees of Rs. 32,000/-, registration fees of Rs. 1000/-, caution fees of Rs. 2000/-, and library & ERP fees of Rs. 2000/-. Moreover, an additional annual examination fee of Rs. 8000 has to be paid. A discount of Rs. 6000/- to Rs. 7000/- is provided if the annual fee is paid at once. Furthermore, the scholarship is merit based on 12th class percentage so, if you scored 75% above, you get Rs. 7000/- off, Rs. 8000/- off on a score of 80% or above and, Rs. 10,000/- off on 90% or above percentage.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members have high expertise and are very friendly and helpful. The background of the faculty is great as the entire faculty is educated from the top Universities of India. Method of teaching involves Blackboard, Smart-board, PPTs and, group discussion. Moreover, the teacher to student ratio is 1:15. My experience with the faculty is really very good.
 

Placement Rating
Placement Cell at JNU, Jaipur is good and it helps the students to get placed in top companies but they need skills and expertise in the field. The placement drive is held every year. Last Placement company visited in the campus was Kaabil Finance. Packages offered on an average is 12 LPA and highest is 60 LPA or above. I didn't get placement yet.
 

Hostel Rating
There are both girls' and boys' hostels in the University. There are about 2000 to 3000 students living in the hostels and the facilities are good. Boys and girls hostels are separate and the mess food is also good and hygienic as compared to other Universities. Moreover, the hostel rules are same like other Universities’ hostels and the gate is closed at 10 PM. But because I'm day scholar I have no personal experience.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Jaipur National University campus is very big and at best locality. There are 3 bright and big campuses including SADTM campus, SILAS campus, and JNU Jaipur main campus. The main campus is very big and there is a Hospital and Research centre and also a medical College. Classrooms are also big and new and seating capacity is around 80 to 100 students. Academic facilities include Library, Labs, Seminar Halls, Auditorium, and Conference Hall. Other than that, the University also has facilities of Canteen, Sports, Medical, and Transport. All the facilities are best in class. The campus is my favourite thing in infrastructure.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life at Jaipur National University is really good. The crowd is huge as about 70,000+ students are studying and there about 100+ courses offered. There are some clubs like Abhivyakti Club, Cultural Club, etc. in the University. Moreover, there are engagement activities like festival celebration, alumni meet, and workshops held every month. There are also fests and events held such as one annual event ‘TECHNORAZZ’ is held every year. My experience is excellent at the University.

  • Amazing college life but strict rules - JNU

    The college campus is nice and clean. The faculty is a little strict with rules and deadlines. The management is fast usually. The industry exposure is great as we get to work directly in a hospital in our campus. Many students go for master's after this course as that is the industry standard, but you can start working with a bachelor’s degree as well.... Read Full Review

I chose this college as I wanted to pursue food technology and it was the only college in Rajasthan apart from CDFT Udaipur which was providing this course.
