JNU Jaipur Offers Excellent Academic and Campus Experience

Overall Rating
The JNU Jaipur has a huge campus and has separate buildings for all the departments. My department is Forensic Science. In my course, there is a HoD and around 12 to 15 faculties. Speaking of events, management ensures to organise one, at least once in a while. So far, I have had a great learning experience and also life after classes too has been great.
 

Academics Rating
This semester, Serology and Forensic Biology are our main subjects. From performing DNA profiling to how to collect biological evidences like body fluids, blood spatter, and hairs, all have been taught in our course. Our course is more of a practical based, so labs are where we have half of our classes daily. I am always excited to go for classes as I am always keeping learning about many things.
Since it's a Private University, fees is slightly high as currently even after scholarship, my fees is Rs. 30,000/- per semester.
 

Faculty Rating
Our faculties are just the best as their teaching focuses on techniques like Chromatography and how to use tools such as microscope and all. So even they focus more on practical learning as theory classes hardly can make us understand or learn our course. They use many real life cases to teach us that how investigation is done case and case based learning makes learning more unique and enjoyable.
 

Placement Rating
I am still unsure of this and my plans are to pursue PG degree in the similar field.
 

Hostel Rating
Me being a local student have no idea about the hostel. However, I do know that University has both girls’ and boys’ hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus of my University is located at Jaipur-Agra bypass in Jagatpura, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Green and orange is the theme of our University's campus as buildings are orange in colour and rest of the campus is filled with greenery. Facilities are available for sports like Football, Volleyball and Cricket. Labs are better than what are shown in movies. It has digital classroom. Both departmental and central libraries are well stocked. Canteen food is very affordable as well.
 

Campus Rating
From celebrity performances to starry nights, Jaipur National University provides it's students the best entertainment opportunities at the campus. 'Technorazz', our annual fest is such an entertainer. There are numerous clubs and are open for all the students. Another society is 'Anandam' which teaches and promotes Yoga and meditation. So experiencing all of it & learning new things in life has made me confident much more than I ever imagined.

  • Amazing college life but strict rules - JNU

    The college campus is nice and clean. The faculty is a little strict with rules and deadlines. The management is fast usually. The industry exposure is great as we get to work directly in a hospital in our campus. Many students go for master's after this course as that is the industry standard, but you can start working with a bachelor’s degree as well.... Read Full Review
