Both AC and Non-AC Rooms are Available at JSSATE Noida Hostels

My overall experience at the JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida has been positive. I chose this Institute based on my percentile in JEE Main. I had to go through the AKTU counseling to get admission here. The faculty is very supportive and well-educated. The students are very skilled and friendly. Faculty encourages students to participate in technical events, workshops, and extracurricular activities. This Institute focuses on both academic as well as in practical knowledge. The management is responsive to the student concerns. Moreover, it is situated at a well-developed area, having the nearest metro station just 1km away. Area around the Institute is safe and peaceful. Hostel life here is also very good and fun.

I have enrolled into the B.Tech (CSE) in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning course. I joined this course because it aligns well with my career goals and provides strong technical and practical knowledge. As AI/ML is growing fast, there are increased opportunities for me. The eligibility criteria includes passing the 12th boards with a required percentage and obtaining a good JEE Main percentile to clear the AKTU counseling procedure. The admission process was systematic and involved document verification and counseling through the official AKTU portal. This Institute requires 90 to 95 percentile to get admission in CSE as a general category student. Three exams are conducted before every semester exam.

The fees structure is good and more affordable than other Institutions. You have to pay the annual fees at once which include Semester fee, Lab charges, etc. There are various scholarships available for students. For general category, the scholarship amount is upto Rs. 55,000/- and for SC/ST, it is Rs. 1,00,000/- which is provided by the UP government.

At JSS Noida, the faculty members are well-qualified and experienced in their respective subjects. Most of them have completed M.Tech or Ph.D and have good subject knowledge. The faculty to student ratio is decent so the teachers are able to give attention to all the students during lectures and practical Labs. Internal exams are conducted seriously. Teachers also guide us on how to write answers in the exams. The faculty members are very supportive and approachable. They also help us in project work and internships. My experience with the faculty has been really good.

The placements are average. Although, there is a Placement Cell in the Institute but not many placement activities are conducted regularly. Most of the companies come directly and take assessment tests, technical & HR rounds. Very few big companies like the Josh Tech, HCL, etc. have visited our campus for recruitment. There are no proper training sessions or mock interviews conducted for the students by the Institute. Students mostly prepare on their own for Aptitude and Coding.

We have separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostel rules are strict. No outsiders are allowed inside the hostel. The timing for girls is around 9 PM and for boys, it is 10 PM. Rooms are available in both AC and Non-AC options but availability is limited. The annual fees for Non-AC room is around Rs. 1,00,000/- . The mess food quality is average. Meals are served four times a day including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks. Overall hostel life is decent but food needs improvement.

The campus infrastructure of JSS Academy of Technical Education Noida is good and quite big. The total campus area is around 28 acres. Academic blocks are well-structured and Classrooms are spacious with proper seating. There is no AC in any classroom which becomes an issue during the summers. Basic facilities like Projector and Boards are available. The Library is good and has enough space and books. The Labs are also properly maintained. Canteen facility is available and the food provided is good. Sports facility is also good and there are big Playgrounds for Cricket and Football. Overall infrastructure is good.

Overall campus life is good. The crowd is huge and every year a large number of students are admitted into our Institute. The environment is decent and students are mostly focused on study and placement. There are several Clubs like the Coding Club, Dancing Club, Gaming Club, etc. An Annual fest named ‘Zealicon’ is also organised. Moreover, many cultural and tech events are conducted during the fest. Sports activities and extracurricular activities are conducted frequently. Overall campus life is enjoyable.
