For students seeking for an engineering college in Uttar Pradesh, RKGIT is a below average institution. The college has a respectable academic record, an unremarkable infrastructure, and very few possibilities for students to grow personally and intellectually. The college also provides students with typical placement options. In a variety of engineering, management, and computer application sectors, the institution provides undergraduate and graduate courses.

It has an acceptable academic record. The faculty members of RKGITM Ghaziabad lack teaching experience yet are knowledgeable. The college contains a small library with a few books, periodicals, and research papers. The labs lack current technology, and the classrooms are relatively outdated and lack air conditioning.

Faculty members are very rude and unprofessional but some are passionate about teaching and are always willing to help students. They use various teaching methods such as lectures, group discussions, case studies, and practical exercises to make the learning process interactive and engaging. Faculty members are also heavily involved in research and development. They discuss their study work at conferences and publish research articles in prestigious journals. This allows them to stay current on the newest trends and advancements in their particular disciplines and apply this knowledge in the classroom.

RKGIT has a specialised placement cell that assists students in obtaining employment offers from mass recruiters TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and other multinational company with the college. The institution provides training and job placement services to assist students in obtaining employment following graduation.

While the college does provide hostel facilities, the number of rooms is limited, and students may need to find off-campus accommodation, which can be expensive and time-consuming.

The campus is well-kept, but the buildings are somewhat old. The institution includes separate hostels for males and female, and the rooms are wide and comfortable; however, there is no air conditioning. The school features an adequate gym, sports facilities, and a canteen that provides acceptable food, nonetheless, street food is superior to campus food.

RKGIT Ghaziabad has a boring campus life with few clubs and student groups. Every 2-3 years, the college holds cultural and technological festivals. Students are also unwilling to join in extracurricular activities. The college offers various extracurricular activities and student organisations, some students may feel that the options are limited compared to other colleges. This may be a disadvantage for students who are looking for a wider range of activities and organisations to participate in.
