PDEU Gandhinagar has 40+ Student Clubs

I am in my 3rd year of B.Tech degree & currently applying for the summer Internship. The CDC helps to guide for career and the preparing of the all over journey for my career. I know the meaning of coding, DSA, different computer languages, one of the best facilities with good tech labs & other facilities too. It has many machines and good technical support campus to develop individual and company. My University has facilities like good sports complex and Solar power for sustainable energy. Overall, my experience is good for the University and it gives me the real world insights.

I am not very much aware about the technical terms and knowledge, though I chose ICT department, which is related to IT and Electronics Communication. It provides good basic knowledge (both practical & theoretical). We can apply for ICT department in two ways: one is GSEB board + GUJCET exam via ACPC counselling and other one is directly based on JEE Main and Advanced. I got seat via TFWS seat & ACPC. Here 25 marks exams are for internal examsand 100 marks are for external exams. There is also one practical exam per semester. However, some courses have outdated syllabus while some have excellent one and real world topics and case studies.

I don't know much about the University fees because I do not have to pay it as I get scholarship in ACPC quota as a TFWS seat provided to top 3 students based on GSEB board + GUJCET marks. University provides sholarships to the top students from the department as well as on the basis of JEE Main percentile. Other scholarships like Digital Gujarat for SC/ST, etc. are also available.

Most of the faculties have done their Postgraduation from IITs or NITs in India with good qualification. They have 10+ years teaching. They have very much technical domain knowledge to ease the subject and the core concept. They can easily relate the topics with real world examples and the future aspects of AI and other technologies. Some faculties are strict for attendance. Lab assignments might sometime feel unnecessary but they are required for the good industrial skill basics. They are supportive for academic and career guidance.

The CDC present at the University invited good number of companies for the placements. Here we get good training program for the aptitude test by cell with top faculties outside the campus from different competitive exams. They provide best practice and guidance to place the students with good packages to all the students who are interested for placements.

The hostel facilities are good but strict for the girls. For first 2 years, they provide accommodations with common restrooms in each floor and from 3rd year, they provide the better hostel facilities, which are now being enhanced with more blocks. In addition, here the food is good at mess, most of the time. They provide good hygiene and food with basic health needs with both vegetarian and non- vegetarian (sometimes on Friday's).

The campus is very big. PDEU Gandhinagar has good infrastructure & facilities for the discuss rooms, dancing rooms, singing facilities, sports complex, cafeteria, and others. They have best facilities for the classrooms and labs. Recently, they started the new construction of new Biotechnology students with advanced labs and research facilities area to provide best practice for our career. They also provide the best functions and celebrations.

My overall campus life is very good as here all the people are very friendly, supportive, and kind to solve the problems in community. We can make good friends at relevant clubs, activities, programs, and events provided by the campus. Talking about clubs, the University has more than 40 clubs. Here the fests, events, club nights are very good from other Universities.
