My Campus Life in UEM Kolkata

Overall Rating
I got a decent enough ranking in my WBJEE exam and as going through this University, I came to know that overall it is one of the perfect ones for higher studies. Campus life has been extremely good for me. I choose this institute as it is the 2nd best ranked institute for engineering in West Bengal also its pretty close to my home. Most of the teachers are extremely good in both teaching as well as problems handling.
 

Academics Rating
At the UEM Jaipur, I chose B.Tech in CSE, as I was a fanatic of computer from the beginning of my school life I used to love JAVA and Python problems they fascinated me to enter in the either University we have to secure a ranking in JEE Main or WBJEE for Engineering. The admission process is smooth as compared to other Universities we just have to fill a form complete the payment and we are enrolled. exams occur around every 2 months the academics prepare us beautifully for the real life challenges
The fees structure for my course at University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata is Rs. 1,22,000/- for tuition fees and some extra charges for the registration administration fees. There is no such discounts that I know of Scholarship and financial aid is provided to students on merit biased.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are probably one of the best parts of this University. They are just amazing and every faculty is highly qualified. Their methods of teaching include GDs, PPTs, and practicals. If we are ever any doubts, the faculties personally help us so that we perform better every 10 student is assigned to 1 mentor. The teachers are extremely approachable. My experience with teachers are amazing because they always helped me and pushed me to be the best version of myself.
 

Placement Rating
The placement works tirelessly so that we can get good jobs they are always on the hunt for companies so that we can flourish they offer hold group gds as well as group pi and solo pi discussions some renowned companies that come to our University are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. Our average package is 6 LPA to 10 LPA. My placement is in the upcoming year.
 

Hostel Rating
Yeah, the University has hostel facilities available although I do not stay in hostel, as my home is close. My friend who stays gave me information about hostel that we have 4 hostels & there are 6 rooms on each floor. Each room can hold 4 students. We have AC rooms and are allowed to bring 1 study table. girls’ and boys’ hostels are separate. food can be better though. hostel fees for 1 year is Rs. 1,00,000/-. hostel has extremely strict rules like taking permission from the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Library present at campus provides books and as I previously said, it has a big library for anybody who requires a book. our University campus consists of 3 buildings. the classrooms hold an amount of 100 students per class. the bigger labs can hold around 200 to 250 students per class. we 3 have one of them can hold upto 1000 students. We have sports places for Cricket, Basketball, Badminton, Kabaddi, and others. medical room is there as well as a vast canteen. my favorite thing as part of University infrastructure would be the playing ground/we have labs for almost every subject, which gives us practical knowledge.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, my campus life has been amazing. our University has a huge amount of crowd various clubs are also present. I am personally a part of the robotics club as I am a fan of IoT systems extracurricular activities range from quiz compactions to hackathons from sports events to inter University tournaments we also have 2 fests in our University primarily the annual tech fest ‘URECKON’ and the cultural fest like ‘ECSTATIA’. Overall, I would say the University campus life has been amazing so far and hope it is even better in the last year.

    Overall, the university is quite good because of friends I have and supportive faculty members. At the end of the day what matters is the memories you make and the things you learn so the campus, fests and all these does not matter that much. Overall, it is good.     University of Engineering and Management is one of the best private universities in Kolkata. If all that is important to you is placements and good education, this is the best university to go for. The first year students are never bullied or ragged here.
