Student’s Life at UEM Kolkata

Overall Rating
My experience at University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata is great. University provides many opportunities to showcase our talent. I would recommend others to join this university because it gives us many opportunities, the fee is pretty affordable, the faculty is also cooperative, and you will get a very friendly environment. Also, gives a good placement compared to other colleges in Kolkata
 

Academics Rating
The course which I took is B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering. In this course you get to know about both the software and the hardware part. For taking admission in B.Tech, students need to prepare for JEE Main and WBJEE; both help you to take admission in the university.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata is really good. They are well educated and qualified professors. Many are from IIT and other reputed universities. Entire faculty has done their Masters and PhD. They are very helpful and will clear all your doubts. The teachers also provide study materials as well as notes.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a placement cell at our university. It helps students acquire jobs in the industry. Many of the students from our university have received more than 1 job offer.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we do have residential facilities. The residential facilities are around 5 to10 minutes away from the university. Hostel life is enjoyable. The hostel has some rules and regulations to be followed. Hostel infrastructure is also pretty good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus infrastructure is pretty decent. It has 3 blocks (B1, B2, and B3). There are many classrooms but a very few classrooms are air conditioned. There are 2 halls and 1 auditorium in the campus. There is a small field behind the college building. The college also has a basketball area. It even has a basement where we get easy access to all the games. The college also has a gym. Cafeteria and canteen facilities are also available inside the campus.
 

Campus Rating
My over all campus life is good so far. Many fests are conducted in our college, in which most of the university students participate. There are many clubs that students can join. Every day or the other new activities are organized. There are many things to explore in our college. My college life is going really good I have got many good friends here.

    The overall experience in UEM Kolkata is good. It is one of the top private universities in West Bengal due to which it goes higher in the priority list of most of the students.     Overall, the university is quite good because of friends I have and supportive faculty members. At the end of the day what matters is the memories you make and the things you learn so the campus, fests and all these does not matter that much. Overall, it is good. The faculty members are compassionate, the labs are very good and in classroom, there is no AC, but all the other amenities are there such as projector, speaker, microphones, etc.... Read Full Review

    University of Engineering and Management is one of the best private universities in Kolkata. If all that is important to you is placements and good education, this is the best university to go for. The first year students are never bullied or ragged here.     What attracted me the most was the education provided in the university, the placement records and their discipline towards studies is very much inspiring for all students. Faculty interaction with students is also very aspiring and help students a lot to achieve their goals.
