Overall Rating
The Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad provides best environment and definitely social life. Seniors are so supportive and not just that even the faculties are like the best people to take advice from. Academics and cultural events held at the University are also one of the best around the area. My University has recieved rankings including 2nd place by The WEEK -Hansa Survey 2025 in Law Colleges.
 

Academics Rating
Law demands a lot of sweat. We have to submit assignments a month before the exams & during this time library is flooded as even though it's huge it is difficult to find space there. Even the internal marking is tough, scoring well requires a lot of dedication and hard work but the kind of teaching, and subjects that we have are again the best.
Annually fee is close to Rs. 3,00,000/-, including hostel fees. Mess charges are to be paid separately every semester, that’s quite low i.e., Rs. 9000/- per semester.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are the most experienced and comprehensive when it comes to teaching. Most of faculties stay in the campus and whenever an eye contact is made with them, they will always smile and pass. So, prolific teaching is one part but their humbleness is another one and both of them have touched me, as I didn't expected this at all.
 

Placement Rating
From judicial litigation to private consultancies such as PwC and Deloitte hired quite a few students this year. Top Law firms have always made NLU Hyderabad their first priority. Khaitan and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas are the top 2 recruiters from here since many a years.
 

Hostel Rating
Girl’s hostels of the University are good as from laundry service to common room and fridge, we have it all. Two people stay in a room, which is of decent size and have, separate bed and cupboards make room comfortable. Food is definitely quite good as otherwise, it would have been difficult to survive, but thankfully, they are appropriate.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Location is definitely an issue as it's too far from the main city and is close to a lake. That is why, the view is good. No complaints about the campus facilities whatsoever as we have modern classrooms, AI labs, and the biggest Law school library. So University’s campus makes life easier for students has the best facilities. Convention Centre is one for the taking as parents coming to meet us or students of other courses can stay there.
 

Campus Rating
From an introvert to the one giving dance performance on stage, it all has become possible only because the University provides an opportunity to everyone to cut loose. ‘Interrobang’, which is annual quiz competition, happens in starting semester, and that sets the tempo for events, which just never ends in the campus. After finishing 3 years where most of my friends didn't opt for Law have graduated who enrolled in other courses. It still feels nostalgic that I am still studying.

    Nalsar has made a name for itself and that is why it is top ranked NLU. Only the top CLAT rankers get admission here and once you are in Nalsar you don't have to look back as everything will fall in place. We have to work hard and do internships but students of this university get internships in TIER-1 firms as the university itself assists us for that.
