Overall Rating
In Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Bhubaneswar, in first year, there will be lots of distracting events but by the second & third year only a few will remain and you won’t be that excited or available for events as 2nd year course makes you think 1 year was a joke.

Academics Rating
I am in CSE (AI&ML) branch as it was the most promising for future aspects seeing AI grow so much. The exams take place after every 2 to 3 months. The course prepares you at a very basic level. It gets more detailed from 3rd year onwards. Overall, you might need to learn extra skills for your placement.
Semester wise fee of my course is nearly Rs. 3,00,000/-. You will get KIITEE scholarship, if you have a good percentile in JEE Main or KIITEE.

Faculty Rating
There are great and many friendly teachers. Mostly they teach on smart boards and PowerPoint. However, most of the teachers make own notes. Maximum teachers are easy to approach.

Placement Rating
The University has Training and Placement Cell. Placement is average and can be improved.

Hostel Rating
Hostels of the University is pretty good. Mess food can be better though.

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar is very vast and you might get lost sometimes too use google maps to figure out campuses. You might be able to understand all about the campus by the end of 1st semester. You can go on and explore campuses of other branches.

Campus Rating
There are small events or flashmob taking place all the time. Almost every month has one event or other. Beside events, there are many campuses to explore and event sports complexes inside campuses for extra activities. There are many varieties of clubs available, which are very active, and you might find one that suits you. The University stays crowded throughout the semester and years but as soon as breaks starts it is empty aft

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar has a great infrastructure, sports facility, clean campus and overall okay faculty. I think this is one of the best private Institutes as the facility they provide is sometimes better than the rest. I have heard from my seniors, the Placement here is good, if not the best. If your percentile in JEE is not up to the mark and you wish to be in a private Institute, I would suggest you to go for this without any second thought.... Read Full Review

Overall experience in Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar was quite good. It was suggested by one of my seniors from the same Institution and after ending of the first semester I realised it was totally worth it. I got a good peer group, great faculties and amazing facilities in this huge campus. The placement provided is also quite good. Most of the students get placed before the completion of their course. Also, everything is available in Online mode such as your marks, att... Read Full Review

In my experience the university is good overall, so before I answer why I chose this particular institute over others I’ll let you know that I am a Computer Science enthusiast and compared to other university its really easy to get computer science here and when I say easy I advise that you join this university for Computer Science streams only, because other stream's packages are very poor. Well something that really differentiates KIIT from other universities or institutes are that its campu... Read Full Review

KIIT is an Institute where the main goal of the Institute is educates tons of children. The batch of 2024 has more than 4000 admissions. I had no other good choice rather than to join this Institute. Well it is not totally bad Institute if you can focus on yourself and use the resources efficiently I think you can achieve great things in life. As it is a private Institute and the facilities provided are great but everything comes at a price (literally).... Read Full Review
