KIIT Bhubaneswar has established a code of conduct that apply to all boarders / hostellers residing at the KIIT Bhubaneswar Campus and utilising the hostel facilities; below-mentioned are the details of the same:

• The campus of KIIT Bhubaneswar is tobacco-free, smoke-free, and alcohol-free; residents who disobey this rule shall be liable for punishment.
• If any resident enters other hostels or creates nuisance or disturbance of any kind, they will face disciplinary action and a monetary fine.
• Hostellers are only allowed to play outdoor games permitted by the Director / Joint Director.
• The Director / Joint Director shall notify the return time for the hostel at the beginning of the academic year that must be adhered to by all hostel residents.
• Any hosteller is not allowed to stay in the hostel during class hours without prior permission from the Director / Joint Director.
• Betting or gambling inside or outside the hostel is strictly prohibited.
• The silence hours are 10 PM to 6 AM; all hostellers need to follow the same.
• Food or any other parcel orders from outside will not be allowed inside the hostel premises after 8 PM.
• Any social or political gatherings, parties, or birthday celebrations are not allowed in the hostel complex.
• Hostellers at KIIT Bhubaneswar shall not damage or move any furniture or fittings from their respective places.
