Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar Autonomous College has established a Placement Cell in order to assist students in building a career in their chosen academic field. The BJB College Placement Cell also organises numerous training sessions in order to enhance the employability skills and resume of the students so that they can secure job offers from the top recruiting companies from the industry.

BJB Autonomous College is developed on approximately 21.23 acres of land area and numerous academic, administrative & residential blocks are available in the campus. Numerous ICT-enabled classrooms with adequate seating arrangement are present at BJB College Campus to ensure that students can learn with the theories with the help of audio-visual aids.

In order to get an overview of the academic and non-academic facilities of BJB College, students can go through the data mentioned in the pointers given below:

• Library: BJBAC Bhubaneswar aims to expand the academic knowledge of the students by setting up a central and multiple departmental libraries. The library has numerous text books, reference books, journals, and other learning resources. Apart from this, the library has a ‘Digital Resource Centre’ with an adequate number of PCs and a 20-seater reading hall to provide access to online learning materials & databases.
  Within the library, separate reading rooms for students & teachers, braille room, plagiarism centre, and many other facilities are available.
• Laboratories: Multiple computer labs and domain-specific labs are available in the academic departments of BJB College with requisite amenities to provide practical exposure & ongoing skills to the students.

• Multi-Purpose Hall: In order to host cultural programs, convocation, academic events, etc., BJBAC Bhubaneswar has built numerous multi-purpose halls which serves as an auditorium at the campus.
• Other Spaces: Academic events like seminars, conference, interviews, meetings, etc. are organised within the 76-seater conference hall and seminar rooms / halls of BJB Autonomous College.
• Canteen: To offer quick refreshments and hygienically prepared meals to the students, nearly 2 canteens are available in the College’s premises.
• Hostels: There are around 5 residential buildings at the College with over 200 rooms in the boys and nearly 271 in girl’s hostels. Adequate facilities like furnished rooms, dining hall, games, library, common room, and other required amenities are present at BJB College Hostels. Few of the available hostels are stated below:
  • Boys Hostel: ‘Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Boy’s Hostel’, ‘Ashoka Boy’s Hostel’, etc.
  • Girls Hostel: ‘Kanchika Girl’s Hostel’, ‘Karubaki Girl’s Hostel’, and a few others.
• Sports: BJBAC Bhubaneswar has a ‘Sports Room’ that has Carrom Board, Chess Board, and facilities for other indoor games. Playgrounds and courts are available at the College for outdoor games like Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Handball, Hockey, etc. A gymnasium with adequate machines & body building equipment is present at the College.
• Healthcare Facilities: Adequate medical facilities are provided to the students at BJB Autonomous College and ambulance services are also available for emergency cases.
