DDUC New Delhi has 'College Career and Placement Cell (CCPC)'

As per my experience, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is a 'Worth It' kind of College. It is situated at Dwarka Sector-3. The nearest metro station is Dwarka Mor Metro Station, which is on the blue line of Delhi Metro. Faculty, Infrastructure, Crowd, Societies, Fests and Events, make it a perfect choice. It is convenient option for PwD students as lifts and ramps are available.

You can get seat in this College through the Delhi University’s CSAS allocation system (for Undergraduate programs). I am in the B.Com (Hons.) course and our department is actually among the top commerce faculty in the University.

The fee for my course is Rs. 30,000/- per annum. There are some other scholarships available for students such as SC, ST, EWS, and other such categories.

The faculty and teachers in my department are supportive and knowledgeable. They clear doubts of the students from time to time and take the classes regularly based on the timetable. The teachers are experienced. There are white boards in the classrooms and also projectors for added and modern learning. Though they are not very lenient when it Comes to attendance and internal assessment marks for that you have to do your work in assignments to get those marks and we have to be regular when it comes to attendance.

Yes, we do have a College Career and Placement Cell and they are quite active. It helps the students in getting internships and placements in various companies including the big 4's, Bajaj Capital, etc. The average package her at DDUC New Delhi is 7 LPA and the highest is 21.5 LPA. The placement rate here is 38.2%, which has lot of scope for improvement in the future. The placement cell here organizes internship fair every summer to help the students be placed and internships. They also call companies from time to time for placement through our College.

Yes, they are hostel facilities available in the College. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The quality of food is good, this is not so common that any public institutions hostel offers good quality well but here it is. The rules and timings are strict you have to be in your room before 9 PM. Hostel fee is over a lakh including all for a year.

Infrastructure is among the strengths of the College. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned, there are labs for Science students, a 3-floor library that is also fully air-conditioned, and has good number of collections of books for all courses. There is spacious Auditorium, which hosts many events and seminars. The classrooms have a modern benches and the maintenance is also good the tiles and floors are always clean. Though sometimes we face water problems but the washrooms are also clean, which is very rare in a public Institution. Canteen is good, you will find all the general items at reasonable rates. Wifi is there as well, which works.

The overall campus life is excellent. the College crowd is good and you will find many of your fellow mates doing some professional courses such as Chartered accountancy, company secretariat, UPSC Preparation, and there are super active societies in our College such as Fin-S, Mercat, FIC, Enactus and many more which are continuously active and host many events, speakers session and competitions and students in clubs work together to explore new and unique dimensions. Above all, our annual festival of the College 'Kalrav' is probably the best if you look at the other Colleges in Delhi University. The first fest I attended, Mohit Chauhan, a renowned singer came to perform in the College premises.
