NLU Prayagraj: One of the Recent NLUs

Overall Rating
The Dr. Rajendra Prasad National Law University Prayagraj is the newest in the line of the NLU. It has no prior achievements, no placements records, no established campus, but still student are choosing this NLU over the other NLU is because of its location is Prayagraj. Second reason is Allahabad High Court - one of the oldest having significant impact in the entire judicial system. Allahabad High Court is helping students in their overall development & it is phenomenal.
 

Academics Rating
Admissions are strictly taken through CLAT exam, rank may differ for the different categories. As of now for Undergraduate level, University is offering only one course that is B.A.LL.B (Hons). Apart from this, we have very good culture of moot-courts that enhances our understanding of legal theory and also gives us opportunity to apply that Law on the moot problem that eventually develops the art of researching, drafting and speaking we have only one exams in the entire semester that is end semester exam.
In 1st year, students have to pay Rs. 4,50,000/- including academics and hostel fee. The there is the increment of 5% on an annual basis. The fee structure might seem a bit higher for some students.
 

Faculty Rating
Initially, there were only 6 permanent faculties out of that only 2 are for the Law. The faculty of non-Law subjects is genuinely good/ teaching methodology of every professor is good. PDFs and reading materials are being provided by the professor to students. Professor actively takes efforts to teach each student. All the professors are Ph.D holders and majority of them had done their studies from Delhi University therefore the kind of exposure they are able to deliver to students is phenomenal.
 

Placement Rating
As this University was established in the year 2020 and the first batch was started in the year 2024 and it will graduate in 2029, therefore we have no such placements records but students are doing really good Internships and University is also helping in that way.
 

Hostel Rating
The university has a residential campus, it is mandatory that in order to be a student of the university they have to live inside respectively in their boys and girls hostel that are separate, the mess are also separate attached to the hostel, mess and hostel fee have to submit annually . Mess premise is very clean and hygienic they prepare food with less oil and minimal spices.
 

Infrastructure Rating
As of now, our University is running on a transit campus though our permanent campus is under construction and will complete soon, but in transit campus, we have shortage of space. We have library, conference room, moot court, classes, and others. All the classrooms are well equipped with all the relevant teaching equipment.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is average. We have different societies for different work such as cultural, sports, debating, and moot court society. They conduct their own events throughout the year.
