CGU Odisha has Industry-Relevant Curriculum

Overall Rating
I am pursuing my B.Tech in CSE AI-ML from CV Raman Global University Bhubaneswar. Currently, I am in 4th year & from my experience in 3 years, I can say that it is not waste at all. This University focused on study. The one thing I like about this University is that its fests. It is focused on making students learn new things by taking part in clubs. Therefore, this University makes things very interactive & is highly recommendable.
 

Academics Rating
As I already told you, I am pursuing B.Tech in CSE AI-ML. I can definitely say that one must go for AI-ML or DS specialisations, as in today's world, companies want AI experts. Eligibility criteria are to have good score either in University’s entrance test JEE Main. The admission process is very smooth and managed well, so it will hardly take 30 minutes. There is a mid semester & end semester exams through the academic session. They start taking tests after every 5 days but now I am seeing they change that they started that from 1st year.
The fees structure is overall good. My fee is Rs. 1,12,500/- but now I think it is increased a little bit.
 

Faculty Rating
In this University, faculties are very nice and helpful in nature. I really like how they interact in the class. Most of the faculties are Ph.D or Masters’ degree holders, so they have great knowledge. I must recommend creating bond with teachers as every day, you will get to learn new things from them. There are smart boards in classroom & these are used by faculty to play their presentations prepared by them to conduct lectures.
 

Placement Rating
Placement Cell is a little bit strict and it is good, as they know how to train us for the corporate world. Training activities organised by them are truly helpful.
 

Hostel Rating
In this University, there are so many hostels for boys and girls. The rules are little strict through. For example, entry after 6 PM will not be allowed. However, they listen students’ grievances and try to solve it on time.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is environment friendly. You will love to walk around campus with your friends in break or after class. There is back gate where many small eateries are there from where you can buy some snacks. Buildings are well made. All the classrooms and labs have smart boards and ACs. Other things like library, seminar hall, and auditorium are all managed properly and are very clean. This University more focused on sports and other creative activities there is the transport facility for day scholars. Therefore, my favorite thing is the nature and cleanliness in the premises.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life is amazing. I think you have only 4 years to enjoy your student life. There are many clubs like Robotics, Drone, ISRO, and others. One famous fest of the University is ‘Celegance’ that goes on for 2 days. Therefore, through my overall experience I will recommend you to join CGU Odisha and enjoy, study hard & live a full life in these 4 years of your academic journey.

    I'm in my second year. Till now my experience in this University is great. This University will provide you many opportunities and great mentors. I chose this University because my sibling is an alumni of CGU Odisha. In this University, the students can delay the fee payment which is not possible in other Universities.     CGU Bhubaneswar has everything that is required to be called a good university. It has an exaggerating 110 acres of campus area, AC labs, Wi-Fi Campus, swimming pool, cricket, football Stadiums, Basketball court, Badminton court, etc. Faculties are average and restrictions in the university are minimum.
