KLU Guntur was Formaly Known as 'KL College of Engineering Guntur'

Choosing the right Intuition is one of the most life changing decisions a student can make. Today I want to share my honest experience with you guys that might help you in some or other way. Just right after my 12th Grade, I was in a complete confusion not knowing to join anywhere and trust me I saw many Universities asking a huge amount of fee just for the admission it’s not because I scored less or anything I have scored 92% in my Intermediate. So when my parents came to know about this KL University Guntur through family friends, they allowed me to take the admission. The reason my parents wanted me to join here is this University is traditional. But to be honest, we do really have a lot of expectations for our B.Tech life having friends, chilling, and bunking classes but don't put such expectations because those will not work here. Previously, it was known as KL College of Engineering Guntur.

Coming to the academics, when I have joined there were just 2 semesters for year, but recently the system changed and there are three semesters for one year. There is a thing called honors, if they should complete 5 subjects in 4 months, so as far as I know these students would get less vacations & holidays.

Faculty members are really good and friendly. However, a few of them are quite strict. Most of the faculty members who are teaching here have completed their Ph.Ds. They use PPTs and explain everything, but I recommend you to do self learning, because they don't teach every single point. If you get a doubt, then the faculty members would definitely clear your doubt. Most of the faculties are very talented and very dedicated to the work. I had a good bond with the faculty members. The faculty who taught me just for 4 months still remembered me and we will have a good interaction whenever we meet.

There is a Placement Cell in this University. It really helps students to acquire jobs in the industry. They conduct many mock interviews, which help in improving ourselves for the placement. There are a lot of good companies that visit the University for recruitment like Amazon, TCS, Accenture, Google, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, etc.

The KL University Guntur offers residential facilities. For girls there are two hostels, including Himalaya and Lotus. There are different types of occupancies are available like 2, 3, and 4. Coming to boys, many hostels are available both inside & outside the campus. The food is good, when compared to other Universities. Hostel rules are that no student is allowed to go on-outings on the working days. Outings will be given on the Sunday. Overall, the hostel experience is good with nice friends. The girls and boys hostels are separate. The hostel food is good when compared to other colleges. Good quality and tasty food. The infrastructure is good, nice, and very clean with good environment. The classrooms are peaceful. There is a good security and friendly faculty. There are lot of labs, seminar halls, auditoriums, and conference halls. There are good canteens and sports, medical and transport availability. I like the hostel Infrastructure a lot. There are good computer labs with good Wi-Fi. There are projectors and if you miss a class then you can get the video of the session. Campus is so peaceful & we can chill and relax.

The overall campus life is good. To be honest there are a lot of crowd, there are too many students. There are a lot of clubs. You can select any club in which you are really interested in. I'm part of the club called SVR where we are taken to outside villages to help in revolution. A lot of engagement activities are organised by the KLU Guntur. 2 fests are conducted in a year.
