KL University Guntur is Developed Over 100 Acres of Land

Choosing the right Institute is one of the most life changing decisions a student can make. One of my family friends recommended this Institution to my parents as it is good at maintaining discipline and had decent atmosphere. Hence, I took entrance exam & got admission here. My experience till this day has been good and it gets better when you actually make good friends and do your work well. The studies are good and my academic grades are also good. Food here tastes good as well. The fee of KL University Guntur is also decent comparatively.

I chose CSE with the specialisation in AI because it is high in demand right now and coding looks fun as well. The eligibility criteria is qualifying their entrance exam KLEEE in which any intermediate student can participate belonging from any state and it is available in both Online & Offline mode. There is also an entrance exam fee and it varies for every branch that you want to choose. It consists of three phases. After qualifying I got the fee concession as well based on my marks. They will also consider IPE marks and EAMCET rank and JEE Main exam marks. For each semester, there will be two mid semester exams and two lab exams. Attendance need to be maintained at 85% and we need to be regular and if we have any serious problems like health issues and couldn't make it to 85% then we can just submit our medical certificates or if you have any sports tournaments then we can just inform them about the same.

Tuition fee for my branch is Rs. 1,47,500/- for the first semester and from the second semester the fees is Rs. 1,32,500/-. The concession will be applicable if you score good marks and if you have secured good marks in Intermediate final exams or the scores of entrance tests. At the beginning, there will be an admission fee which is Rs. 15,000/-. The hostel fee is charged separately. There will be a certification fees applicable as well once you become a senior. If you have any scholarship, then it will be applicable here for sure. You need to maintain 9 CGPA or above to maintain that concession.

The faculty here is good and they will be chosen by their qualifications. Most of them have already done their Ph.D. They teach on the white board and PPTs. Group discussions also take place, and smart India Hackathons, Idea-thon will be there. The problem solving of the teachers is good. There are various professors present for each subject. They are really friendly. Not everyone's teaching is same, few teach differently, few teach fast, few teach slow, but they are all good at teaching.

During the third year itself we will be eligible for the interviews but they will let us to the interviews only if we are completely confident to be able to give the interviews. Various tests and mock interviews will be organised as well to practice and give our best in the interviews. Few of my seniors had got placed in companies in foreign countries like Germany, Japan, Dubai and others. The highest package is around 50 LPA to 75 LPA, and average package is around 5 LPA to 7 LPA.

There are separate residential facilities for boys and girls provided by KL University Guntur. There are plenty of rooms in the Hostel. There is a gym available in the hostel, a library, film making club, indoor games, a theatre and coding club and many as well. There are nearly 7 hostels here. The mess food is good comparatively. There will be non-vegetarian food for every three days in a week, and there are different cuisines like South Indian, North Indian, and International cuisines. The non-vegetarian and vegetarian counters are also different. Workers come and sweep your room daily. At night, the wardens take the attendance everyday and there will be face recognition as well. Self outings will be from second year, when but we should reach hostel by night.

KL University Guntur is spread about 100 acres of land and there are many blocks for each departments. There are many faculty cubicles and staff rooms, even waiting halls to take rest and work. There are indoor games like Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball, Football, and others, There are also yoga room, gym, and swimming pool. There is a huge library with everything in it. There are plenty of Labs, Seminar Halls, Auditoriums, Conference Halls, and many more, There are many canteens where you can eat whatever you want. The security is very high. There are smart boards in our class which are nice and good looking.

My overall experience is really good. I made a lot of friends and got to know how to interact with the people nicely. There are many clubs to join and participate like Music, Singing, Dance, Sports, etc. There will lot of fests & programs conducted where we can participate in everything that we are interested in. There will be two huge programs for every 6 months which will be held for 2 days without classes and celebrities will also be invited. We can enjoy a lot. If you have interest in anything then you can join and showcase your talent like Acting, Choreography, Photography, Director for music videos, Editing, Fashion Modelling, Radio & Broadcast. There are even coding clubs and E-sports.
