Admission in Murshidabad Medical College & Hospital B.Sc (Nursing) is via Valid JENPAS UG Scores

After you get to pass your senior secondary examination, you get to choose right? So, likewise I too had to choose what I want to do next and as for me I always wanted to be in something where I could take care of my family & could serve my society as well. That's the reason that came to my mind when I was opting to study B.Sc Nursing, and I am glad that I am going to be a registered nurse of India soon. My overall experience at this College has been quite good. Being a part of Government College comes with a unique opportunity to gain both strong theoretical and practical exposure without travelling much. The attached hospital is of great beneficiary here. I chose this College because it is the nearest from my house and unlimited benefits come with it. Moreover, it is located on the station road which makes it more accessible easily. You can take any vehicle from the bus stand to get here and from the Baharampur station. One of the greatest perks is that we get to practice in the mental hospital too which is only two in the total West Bengal.

Nursing program offered by the College is approved by NMC (MCI). The eligibility criteria for admission included passing the Class 12th examination with at least 60% aggregate marks, followed by qualifying in the required entrance examination i.e., JENPAS UG, as applicable during the admission process. The Murshidabad Medical College & Hospital faculty and administration guide students throughout the admission process and provide further instructions whenever needed. It is basically a four-year program, which has 8 semesters.

As this is a Government College, a very minimum amount of fee is charged. about scholarships, there are some of them you can try for them if you meet eligibility conditions. Specifically, there are no category based discounts.

Teachers in my department are well-qualified and good. If we have any problem, there are always faculties available to solve them. In case you don't get them by your side you can also depend upon the seniors to get a better guidance. Teacher to student ratio needs to be improved though.

Being a third-year student, I can assure you that getting placements is all about your luck. About internships, you will get to finish it at College’s hospital as with an amount in hand that might help you get away with your needs.

There are a lot of accommodation options available outside the Murshidabad Medical College & Hospital premises. I am very sure that there won't be any problems at all.

The infrastructure is beyond my language. All the classes are well furnished and air- conditioned. There are specific places for all activities. All the programs are being held at auditoriums with so many etiquettes and disciplines. Canteens and playgrounds are easily accessible. My favorite thing in this College is the balcony of the 6th floor from where we can get scenic view of whole Berhampore city, especially during rainy season.

Well, in the end, College life is the one thing in our lives that we can't ignore. So, we have to give it our all and also nursing course demands all of it. The crowd is great during events. No, there are no clubs present near here. The extracurricular activities are conducted. For me, I feel lively when I am in my College. In a very less time, it made a good place in my heart, and this means a lot for me.
