DGU Dehradun From Perspective of BBA Student

Overall Rating
In 2008, this University started its operations as Doon Business School. I have been pursuing my BBA here since last 2 years. Overall, I would say the University is an amazing platform to get quality education for this course. The place is clean and beautiful & is surrounded by hills of Dehradun. The faculty are genuinely helpful and trying their best to guide us on our curriculum. I have made some amazing livelong friends whom I will cherish forever.
 

Academics Rating
I have opted from Digital Marketing specialisation. The subjects offered are updated with implementation of concepts like how we can utilize AI for our work productively. The curriculum of the program is updated as well.
At the DBS Global University Dehradun, I pay like Rs. 1,00,000/- per semester for my course. Rs. 1,00,000/- is my hostel fee which includes food, laundry, cleaning, and other charges.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of the University is among my favorite aspects. Most of them are confident and have industry experience. Some standouts that I would say are definitely Rashmi Mam who is our digital marketing and pr head of the University. She is a very insightful individual and properly knows about her stuff. At the same time, she is very friendly and helpful to us.
 

Placement Rating
I have not got placed yet so I can’t really speak much on this topic but to be honet so far from what I have seen, the placements are pretty good. For example, last year placement rate of my senior batch was around 70% to 80%.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus of the DGU Dehradun is a bit small for its reputation but to be honest I only felt it as more comfortable because I do not have to run from places to places to get the job done. The infrastructure is modern and attractive. The University looks beautiful with hills that are visible in distance when we take lift. There are also proper grounds for sports like Basketball, Badminton, Football, Pool, Cricket, and many other indoor sports. We have ambulance as well.
 

Campus Rating
Various events are conducted at the University on a daily and weekly basis. These are always a fun gathering. We have somewhat 21 clubs in the University that we can join. All of them are run by students but there is a faculty in charge. Therefore, my campus life has been good.
