My Honest Opinion on Yenepoya University Mangalore

Overall Rating
Firstly it is a Deemed-to-be University, so that the exams, rules and all will be under its management’s control itself. The campus is excellent with many facilities. The facility of the University was amazing which high class in Mangalore is but the teaching staff is not much educated not entire faculty few of them knows very well how to take class.
 

Academics Rating
The course I chose is BCA with Cyber Security from the Yenepoya University Mangalore. If you PUC certification, you are eligible for admission in this University The course syllabus is good & will help you gain quality education.
Fees of the courses at the University changes from time to time. For our batch, it is Rs. 62,000/- per semester.
 

Faculty Rating
Most the faculties are very friendly and we can speak freely in the campus and off the campus, they are calm and quit. For taking lectures, they use PPTs and digital boards. Some of them are very strict inside. All in all, I have a great bond with teachers here.
 

Placement Rating
The University has Employment and Placement Cell. Placements of the University are average but can be much better.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facilities provided by the Institution are good. The buildings are clean & Wi-Fi enabled. Other than that, rooms contain basic living amenities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The University has high-class infrastructure. The seating capacity varies from classrooms to classrooms. The labs are good and you can sit there after the classes. There are other peaceful spaces for students at the campus. Yenepoya University Mangalore offers sports facilities as well.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, the campus life was amazing with friends and faculties. I used to learn most of the things from external sources or from the faculties after the class hour. Several fests & events will be conducted like annual day, IT fest, food fest, Onam, traditional day, etc. The University has different clubs such as NSS, NCC, Red Cross, IT, etc. You can join any club.

    The reason I chose YDU Mangalore was that it offered education. As I live in Kerala and travel to Mangalore, the distance is short and comfortable. I have checked other Universities too but their fee is much higher and the academics were outdated. My experience here so far is good. The environment is peaceful and the University is good if you want to just study.     The summary of Yenepoya Kulur college is good. Here we can easily get a degree. They teach us very well and the campus life is also good. We have canteen, ground to play basketball, football, badminton etc. The class rooms are good. We have facilities like AC, lifts and other thing as compared to other colleges.
