My experience at Nit Raipur

Overall Rating
The NIT Raipur is situated in the main city. College is about 5 kms from Raipur railway junction and about 20 kms from Raipur Airport. College provides a decent campus life along with very good placement opportunities to the students. NIT Raipur has its own placement cell which makes students industry ready. NIT Raipur has NIRF ranking 65th among all engineering colleges in India in 2022.
 

Academics Rating
One has to qualify the JEE mains exam to get admission in the NIT Raipur with at least 95 percentile. NIT Raipur provides B.Tech course in 8 branches. It also provides M.Tech, MCA and PhD courses to the students. I choose NIT Raipur because it is well connected with the city and has decent placement opportunities for the students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members in NIT Raipur are well qualified and experienced. Many of them are PhD holders in their respective fields and others are graduated from IITs And NITs. The teaching methodology of the faculty members is very good here. Teachers at NIT Raipur clear each and every concept the classroom itself. Teachers and other faculty members are very friendly to the students and provide career guidance from time to time.
 

Placement Rating
Yes NIT Raipur has its own placement cell which makes students industry ready. Placements at NIT Raipur are very good. Average CTC is 10 lakhs per annum and the highest CTC is 2 crore which is off-campus. Top recruiting companies includes Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Siemens, Samsung, Flipkart etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes NIT Raipur provides limited hostel facilities on the basis of merit in respective semesters. It has 6 boys’ hostels and 3 girls’ hostel. The Hostel rooms are well furnished and have fast lan connectivity. Mess food in hostel is good and provides variety of food in it
 

Infrastructure Rating
NIT Raipur has good infrastructure. Campus has One Central garden, 1 Central library, Big cricket ground, football ground, basketball ground, volleyball ground, badminton court etc. The classrooms are well furnished and equipped with projectors and other facilities. NIT Raipur has one Amul parlor and two canteens in the campus itself.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life at NIT Raipur is really awesome. NIT Raipur has good crowd. Students are happy here after joining. It has many clubs like E-cell, Robotics club, Nrityam The dance club, Raaga The music club and many more. NIT Raipur celebrates its annual cultural fest Eclectika in the month of February. And Samar its annual sports fest in the month of January and Aavartan (Tech fest) in the month of March every year.

    National Institute of technology, Raipur is located in the center of the city Raipur. Raipur being the capital city of state Chhattisgarh has a very good connectivity. The college is about 5 km from Raipur railway junction, 6 Km from Raipur bus stand and about 20Km from airport.
