Srinivasa Ramanujan Institute of Technology is the one of the good colleges for knowledge and learning. Recently this college has become autonomous. SRIT is well established with security and have the strict environment. The college has spacious classrooms, labs, and a huge central library with a large collection of books. A new block is constructed which has the central library and the computer science related labs. Student discipline is maintained like students must be in formal dress and shoes are compulsory and no jeans are allowed. SRIT college has high security where no one is allowed to bunk the classes. Overall good college in Anantapur.

SRIT college is strong when it comes to the academics where it successfully accomplishes the goal of completing the courses on time. Most of the students gain the knowledge of subjects because the college staff teaches in innovative manner. As SRIT is an autonomous college the courses have high quality content. Course entry is simple because you cannot choose the courses once you selected the branch, if you have selected a particular branch for overall branch students you will have the professional elective and open electives which are known as courses. Coming to eligibility you will have to get credits which each course carries and you must have 60% of total credits in a semester to be eligible for the next semester. I personally suggest to students while enrolling to program, be wise while selecting branch and study accordingly.

Faculty members are friendly and you will face every type of faculty in this college. You cannot say about the faculties because each branch has their unique character. Most of the faculty members teach you the good content. Background of faculty in this college is good as most of the faculty members have done their M. Tech and only few have doctorates. These doctorates holding faculty will teach you the best and they take the main and important core subjects in their respective branches.

Placements are good for the Computer Science students and Electronics students compared with Mechanical and Civil students. Civil and Mechanical students have the core placements which are very few with low packages.

College has the hostel facility where overall the facilities are okay. I am a day scholar student, so I don't know more about the hostel activities.

Campus academic blocks are good. Recently C block is constructed which is the best infrastructure you will see in Anantapur. In this block you will have the Central Library with Computer Science labs having the central AC. Other blocks are also good with spacious classrooms and seminar halls. In each classroom you will have the projector where most of the faculty covers the course topics with presentations.

Campus Life is good. You will find rare occasions to fests and crowd. Only once in a year you will have the college day where function starts at evening with cultural activities like dances, singing, and awards are distributed to the academic ranker and sports are conducted for college day and those winners and runners will also receive the awards. Small gathering for students is conducted in seminar hall where particular branch and year students participate to listen to the programs.
