JNU Jaipur Review

Overall Rating
The overall experience is great as the college provided us many scheduled industrial visits. I chose this college as I wanted to pursue food technology and it was the only college in Rajasthan apart from CDFT Udaipur which was providing this course. I would suggest others that this college has immense potential in upcoming years.
 

Academics Rating
The course is very simple and straightforward in terms of academics. The main components of the syllabus are practical and seminars. The entry requirements are HSC/Diploma. The motive was to learn and apply the same in real life situations which the college duly provided. If you're interested in food technology then you should really pursue this course.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are very faithful in terms of quality and ethics. They provided each of us many opportunities to grow in our domain. Many of our teachers were PhD holders with 20+ years of teaching experience. Some teachers were also from IITs. Overall I found the style of teaching modern and minimalistic.
 

Placement Rating
We had a very active placement cell which used to send us updates regarding upcoming placements. We were given up to 3 chances (rounds) of placements per company.
 

Hostel Rating
We had hostel facility in our campus which was around 1 km away from the college premises.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Academic blocks comprised of three blocks, mainly Life Sciences, Law, and Engineering. Medical College was also there but a bit far from the campus. Some infrastructure is ongoing construction and will be completed. Canteen is there in each campus with all snacks available (strict timings). There is also a sports ground.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is the best and you get to see many Bollywood actors every year. We had many college clubs like Environment Club, Coding Club, etc. Every year there was NGO activity in our college. There were many times when we were taken to different rural areas for volunteering. So my overall experience of extracurricular activities was good.

  • Amazing college life but strict rules - JNU

    The college campus is nice and clean. The faculty is a little strict with rules and deadlines. The management is fast usually. The industry exposure is great as we get to work directly in a hospital in our campus. Many students go for master's after this course as that is the industry standard, but you can start working with a bachelor’s degree as well.... Read Full Review

    Jaipur National University is one of the best private universities located in the capital of Rajasthan. This university is verified by regulatory bodies such as UGC, AICTE, NCTE, BCI, and PCI and so on and it has helped me thoroughly set my career benchmarks.     My experience at Jaipur National University was amazing. I am not much interested in studies and this university was like the best place for me as they are not like “you should only focus on your studies”.
