Bearys Institute of Technology B.Tech Review By Chandan Khuntia

Our institute was founded by Bearys Group in the year 2009. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. This institute is famous for its best education among whole South Karnataka. The place is quiet and full of greenery. The facilities like hostel accommodation, canteen, sports, and gym house all are available. High experienced faculty is available and the placement support is far better than in any other institute.

After completion of intermediate exam I chose to join this institute because this institute is near my place. The institute provides both UG and PG courses like BE, M.Tech, Diploma, and PhD courses. For B.Tech I appeared in the COMED K entrance exam and got good marks. After that I went through the counseling process and got admission into the institute. For B.Tech the fee is Rs. 75,000 per year. Scholarship is also provided to the meritorious students.

There are 14 faculty members present in the Computer Science Department. Among one faculty has an experience of almost 12 years and rest of them hold an average of 3 to 4 years of experience. They all are highly qualified. They are not stuck to the books. Majority of them are good in coding so they help the students in the practical.

Institute provides good placement support in various service based companies like Nagarro, NTT Data, Infosys, and Cognizant. The placement record is almost 97% student. Our placement manager manages the cell very nicely. They conduct placement training support by inviting some employees who are working in different IT companies.

Institute has hostels for boys, girls, and faculties. The hostel admission fee is Rs. 30,000 per year. The food quality is good and different menu is provided on different days. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all are provided to the students. Electricity and purified water are available all the time and there is also a gym house nearby.

There are many labs like Workshop, Electronic Lab, Mechanical Workshop, etc. Seminar hall, International Seminar Hall, Cafeteria, Convenience Store, Sports Facilities like Indoor and Outside Games are present. Library is very beautiful and in library Xerox facilities and air-conditioning study room is also available.

There are so many clubs like BIT Green Club and BIT Pray Club where institute helps underprivileged children. Innovator Club is also there where students can showcase their talents. The institute is entirely ragging free. Many fests like the Annual Fest, Departmental Fest, Fresher’s Party, Farewell Party, etc. are also celebrated. Festivals like Diwali, Makar Sakranti, etc. are also celebrated in the college.
