RNB Global University is probably the best option for anyone who is looking for a college in a rural area. It is located 17 km from Bikaner. It is also awarded as the best university in the rural area by ASSOCHAM, India. The admission process is quite simple as it a private university, you can visit the website and apply for admission and call the toll-free number provided. They are available from 8 AM to 5 PM to receive calls and will give you all the details and explain the procedure. It is a suggestion from my side that do not visit the college without informing them as they are concerned about the safety and need prior information to prepare cards for your entry. College management does an excellent job at their work. Most of the work is managed online. The mode of study is also online.

They are affiliated with MTop services for online study purposes. LMS system is incorporated in their mode of study in which they will provide all the details through presentations and you will also be asked to give presentations that will definitely improve your presentation skills even if you are a science student. If you're looking for improvement and not just for the sake of money, you are highly advised to join. One more thing is that they provide scholarships depending on the entrance exams given and your percentages in them. For all the students whose parents are defense personnel, they get an extra scholarship of 25%.

They have a team of experts that will help you choose your desired subject even if you're in a state of confusion. When I went there I was guided by a team of counselors, I was a little bit confused between B.Sc in life sciences and B.Sc in biotechnology but within an, hour I was sure about the subjects and I chose biotechnology as my main subject. there is no doubt that college is based in a rural environment but the faculty is hired from places like Delhi, Kerala, Jaipur, etc. there is as such no compromise in the quality of knowledge the teachers provide.

Anyone who wants to choose biotechnology can refer to this college, their labs are equipped with all the apparatus and machines like the laminar flow and all so there is no compromise in the quality they provide. Other than that it depends upon the student whether they take full advantage of study and provided equipment or not. the course I opted for that is biotechnology has certain sub-subjects within it like biochemistry, genetics, bioinformatics, etc. they give you a detailed explanation of all the subjects in each semester that helps you decide further if you want to pursue genetics or informatics as higher studies. If you're interested in any other field then also the faculty tries their utmost to guide you

For every course, they have at least 3-4 faculties. My course was further divided into 3 main courses including a subject from biotech and apart from that chemistry and zoology. For each subject, they had 3 faculties that taught according to semesters. Overall faculties in college differed in all years but it was around 40. As the college is new right now and students are also less, so it is a benefit too because you get focused on by all teachers and they try their best to improve your skills and sharpen them. Some teachers had to be their career in RNB itself while some teachers were highly reputed in their firm and visited prestigious colleges like DU to give guest lectures.

Most of the teachers were doctorates and done a Ph.D in their field. Except for 1 or 2 teachers, all others were extremely professionals in nature in their subject and taught really well. if we don't find anyone up to the mark and the whole class finds their teaching not so useful you can mail their portal, they have a different team for the complaint section as well and a suggestion box is also placed in which you can file your complaints and a maximum number of times I have seen that action was taken and new faculty was called upon.

The university is divided into various schools like a school of basic and applied sciences, school of law, school of commerce and management, etc. there was no scope of placement in the science section. But for MBA and BBA students, various companies used to visit every year. Even for an internship, they called many reputed companies like Reliance, Byju's, etc. The highest package provided by Byju's company of Rs. 9-10 lakhs per year. Average package ranges from Rs. 4-6 lakhs per annum.

But these packages were for other batches. In biotechnology bachelors there was no placement as we were advised to do masters as well for getting placement in a reputed firm. But among my fellow students whom I knew from MBA and BBA, only 20% of the students were given jobs.

One great feature I liked about college is their hostel rooms. They had separate boys and girls hostel on the campus itself but the mess was common between both. Girls' hostel is made as a flat type. 9-10 flats are present. Each flat is 2 BHK. And 4 students are allowed in one flat. The flats are spacious well furnished and beautiful inside out. There is a lot of space in front of the building to roam around and play. I had the most amazing time of my life in this hostel and it's really special to me. You can also play games like basketball, volleyball in the evening. The infrastructure of the college is literally amazing. The basketball court is also amazing.

The total fee per year for mess and living charges included is between 70 to 80,000. AC rooms are also present as of now. You can pay extra and opt for AC rooms as the temperature is very hot in Bikaner. The food quality was not very good when I was in the hostel the first year but then it became good with days passing by. For all the girl's students security is really good. The campus is highly secure and wardens are present. Overall it is a big YES to the hostel facilities from my experience.

The university is spread over 300 acres of area which is quite big. They have two buildings. One is academic and another is admin block. Also for law students, moot courts were made separately in areas between academic blocks and canteens. The infrastructure of the college is quite nice as compared to other colleges. They have the best library I have ever seen. Laboratories are fully equipped and large.

Playgrounds include basketball volleyball, tennis court, etc. no football ground. The medical support was lacking in the college. As they only have a small sick room which was not fully equipped with medications but they did have a personal ambulance in case a student or faculty falls ill.

Campus life was not as expected. Honestly few people were narrow-minded and as a girl, you need to be ready to cope up with that but other than that college is really fun. They organize an annual fest called INSPIRE and an annual sports fest called SPREE for students. The programs last for 3 days. In INSPIRE they call special guests like musical bands, theatre groups, and dancers to entertain students and have fun.

These were the best days for me. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Regular seminars were held in college for all streams of students in which professors from famous institutes were called to give information about various trending topics. For all the science students various quizzes and competitions were held. College never failed to disappoint us in case of celebrations. Almost all the festivals and days were celebrated in college promises with all the decorations, dances and all. Overall it was fun.
