BV Raju Institute of Technology B.Tech Review By Durga Prasad Addagarla

I am a student from BVRIT, Narsapur. I am from ECE (2021-2025). Overall college is good by looks. It is better than any other college in Telangana after IIT, NIT, IIIT and BITS. Coming to the studies faculty are good and qualified with reasonable experience. They are also interactive with the students. Coming to the fests in the college, there are very less fests in the college but there are many technical or cultural events conducted by the clubs in the college. The management is also good. We have an assumption that there will be irritating lecturers in the college. Yes, it is right. But not all faculties are bad, some are strict, but many are good. There are many sports tournaments conducted and many things that could happen. Coming to the placements, the placements are also better, and that particular concerned team is also good. They do many things for the students to get placed. The only things that the students must do is not to wait for 2nd or 3rd year start learning the courses from the 1st year so that you will be more benefitted. Overall, my suggestion is it is a good college to join.

Academics doesn’t matter whole future of a student. Your talent matters. But in BVRIT both are balanced. Academics are nice and the way they are perfectly balanced. Scoring good marks in the exams is very easy. Most of the students think that one-day batting is enough for the exams. It may work but not all the time. Sometimes it may reflect the bad sign. At least by starting 10 days before the exam can fetch you a good score.

Faculty is good but there are some people who are very strict. This may irritate many of the students. Parents think that it is for students' welfare. But it is partially true because students don’t feel comfortable if the faculty are too strict, they need some comfort to interact with the faculty. But in other way students are too liberal that strict faculty can only handle them to make their good future. So, I conclude that faculty are not too bad but OK.

Yes, there is a Placement Cell in BVRIT. It also helps every student to get a job. But that job will be a good one or a normal job will be in the hands of student i.e., if the student is good at skills, then he/she will get a good job.

Yes, we have the hostel facility. It is also good. Food is bit harsh. But the rooms are OK. I don’t have knowledge on the hostel. But most of my friends are from hostel. So, by their experience I could say hostel life is good, but food is not so good.

The infrastructure is very good. Except in some areas like auditorium and some places the college is very nice. It is a big college. And there are many hideouts for the students who want to bunk. But there are sports teachers who are cleverer than the students who can easily catch them when they are bunked. College is a vast area to spread one's wings. I liked the college infrastructure and can assure you that you also will like it.

Campus life is good. It is packed with limited rules that every student is to be needed. They don’t even force you to do so. They leave for student's decision. Coming to the crowd there are nearly 4000 students in the campus. There are many clubs that the students can join depending upon their interest. It will be very fun. There are clubs for media, cultural events, entrepreneurs, arts and crafts, NSS and many more. There are totally 15 clubs in the college. Coming to the fests there are less fests in the college compared to the previous year’s fests. This is because that the students are only focusing on the fests and lagging behind the studies. So, the management made it less for student’s sake. But I can tell you that there will be many technical fests or events that could happen in the college. There will be more fun.
