JSS Academy of technical education, Noida (JSSATEN) is a private college situated in the centre of the City Sector 62, Noida affiliated with AKTU University, Lucknow. They offer different graduation and post-graduation courses like B.Tech (IT, computer science, EEE, civil, mechanical and EE), MCA, MBA. It has NBA Accreditation and NIRF. For taking admission in JSS UPSET Exam score is important for MBA they also accept scores of the MAT and other state-level exams.

I have completed MBA dual specialisation in human resource and finance. Applying for MBA minimum marks is 60 per cent in 10th, 12th and graduation. The entrance exam is upset and mat. The biggest advantage of JSS, Noida is its location. It's one the best AKTU affiliated college for MBA. Course subject is more focused on theoretical studies. After doing MBA you will get a job with an initial salary between Rs. 3 LPA to Rs. 5 LPA mainly in finance, human resource and marketing.

Student intake is 60 and the total number of faculties is 11 in the MBA department and total number of teachers in college is more than 250. Most of the teachers have experience of more than 10 years. Teachers are postgraduate and some are PhD holders also. Most of the Teachers teaching style are theoretical but some teachers also try to explain by conducting group discussion and by showing videos if you asked them to explain it more.

JSS has one placement cell for all the courses with two placement officers. JSS is located within city that is a plus point for students and surrounded by many IT and NON-IT companies mostly startups. These companies recruit students and some known companies also visit but they take very few students. But no top company visit for placements. The highest package in MBA is Rs. 6 LPA by Indus valley. Average package is Rs. 3.5 LPA. 70 per cent students got campus placements in companies like HCL, IndiaMART, Indus Valley and some startups.

There are 3 hostels one for girls and two for boys. Girls hostel is located within the campus it is a non-ac hostel. It has 7 floors with approx 500 rooms. 3 sharing room and common washrooms at the end each floor and in the room, they provide one cupboard, one single bed, one table and a chair but they do not provide mattress, bed sheet and pillow. There are 2 pool tables, one badminton court and 2 lifts. In terms of food, there is a big mess with a capacity of approx 300 seating. Food quality is above average and hygienic and they provide 4 meals a day with different varieties.

For security, there are many CCTV cameras are installed outside the hostel building and lady guards /helpers are available for 24/7. There is a safe environment within the hostel. Hostel gate timing from 6 am to 9 pm and there is a biometric system for attendance at the night. There are many workers for cleaning floors and they clean it twice a day. About boys hostel - there are two boys hostel one is ac and other non-ac with a capacity of 500 each. it is located within the campus food quality and security is average. There is a lot of greenery around the campus with different flowers. Hostels are equipped with wi-fi. There are no ragging cases so far and there is one college anti-ragging cell also who works actively when a new batch begins.

JSS college campus is spread in the area of approx 25 acres of land. There are 6 academic blocks for different departments. There are 3 staff quarter buildings with 1 bhk and 2 bhk flats for teachers. One multipurpose hall in which there is a big cafeteria with a capacity of 200 seats, one gym one auditorium and one indoor badminton court.

The library is one of the best parts of the college because it is fully ac and wi-fi equipped and has the capacity of around 300 seats and 100 computer systems. There is one computer lab in each department. There is stationery Store, dairy store, bank and medical room within the campus. There are a big playground and many small gardens on the campus.

In terms of extracurricular activities, JSS has plenty of options like a sports club, cultural club, technical club, debate club, photography club, etc. so students usually take part in one or more clubs according to their interests. Each club organizes many intra college events and one big inter-college event like TEDx, youth parliament, etc. in which any student can participate whether they are part of that club or not.

There are 2 main fests conducted each year. First is Zealicon in even semester which is technical and cultural fest. It's basically a 4 days event starts with a flash mob on day 1 and ends with DJ night on day 4. Second is mythri in the odd semester which is a sports and fun feast of 2 days which involve serious sports and some fun games. Apart from that, there are 2 NGOs which is managed by the students. Its slum children education NGO so in the evening after their classes students usually go there to volunteer. In terms of festival celebration, JSS does not offer you anything except one that is the New Year they organise a bone fire in the night. So, in JSS there are multiple other things to do apart from doing studies.
