Bharati Vidyapeeth University, New Law College, Pune is a deemed university with an A+ Accreditation by "NAAC" in 2017. The college is situated in Kothrud, which is an amazing place for youngsters. For me, Pune is a city of Youngsters; you will see only Youngsters in Pune. The college has different vibes and students from every part of the country, it gives a fresh vibe. The college has a single building with 5 floors, divided by different courses and years. The college has international accreditation with 10 MOU'S with renowned foreign universities in UK, USA and Europe. College is ranked amongst the top Law Schools of India with an All India 4th rank by Outlook and India today in 2019.

Talking about the Admission process, the New Law College conducts its own examination by the name BVP CET in the month of June every year, and college starts from July 15th. The college management is supportive and helps every student in solving their queries and all the seniors are also supportive and they never take ragging and help you in every aspect of your lives.

I joined B.A L.L.B course which is a 5- year integrated course, because I did not have any inclination towards business, those who have an inclination towards business can opt for B.BA L.LB course. I also thought B.A L.LB would widen the scope of future opportunities for me, that's why I chose this course. New law college, Pune also provides 5-year B.BA L.LB, 3 year LLB, 1 and 2 years LLM courses as well.

Yes, all the subjects are there as per my expectations, the university has divided the appropriate subjects for each semester; they have created a balance between law subjects and other subjects. Yes, this course would definitely help me to get a job, as we can see the rising demand of law in our country, so this course would give me a job for sure.

There are more than 10 faculties for a particular course and the college has given the appropriate number of faculties for a particular subject, All the faculties are really knowledgeable and friendly and have 5 years of average experience in teaching and most of the faculties are PhD and have an in-depth knowledge of their respective subjects.

All the faculties know the basics of teaching and know-how to teach to different types of students, I have never faced any difficulties in understanding a topic or subject because all the faculties are so friendly and polite in nature.

Training and placement cell is active in our college, however, there are no great placements as such, and it ultimately depends on the students to enhance their skills and caliber. Some students from our college get an amazing placement and around 30-40% of the batch got placed from our college.

Companies like Tata, Mindcrest and Bajaj visits the campus every year for placement and the average package offered by the companies is between Rs. 4-5 lakhs per annum and the highest package offered is Rs. 10 lakhs per annum. In my senior batch, there are around 30-40% of students who got placed in the placement process.

Yes, the college is provided with the hostel, but the condition of the hostel is not up to the mark, there are around more than 30 rooms with 4 students in each room, the room is not clean at all. yes, there are separate hostels for boys and girls, both the hostels are on the university premises only, but there are so many PG facilities near the university, most of the students choose to live in a PG or a flat, trust me, you will not face any problem while finding a place to live, there are infinite options available.

The total per year fees of the hostel is around Rs 1 Lakhs, talking about the food and its quality, the food is okay, and has variety. Students get a different kind of food every day. Hostels are secured with CCTV and security guards at the gates with strict in-time for both the boys and girls.

The total area of the main Bharati Vidyapeeth University is 80 acres, the university is so beautiful and reputed in and out Maharashtra. The new law college building is a 5 floored building with a separate floor for different courses and years, the classrooms are so big and spacious that can easily accommodate more than 100 students. The college has a really beautiful library, which has almost every book that is useful for students to research and to study. The college has its own auditorium, that is so beautiful and all the activities, guests programs organised in that auditorium only.

The college conducts so many webinars and workshops like personality development workshop by Ravi Bodani Sir and many more almost once in a week. There is no playground of the college as such, there are only basketball court, volleyball court and a big patch of land that only provides the parking facilities, and there is also sports week organised by the college every semester. There is a cafeteria in the college premises, where you can get snacks and food at an affordable rate. The college also has a team of medical and emergency support, which is there to help students who are in an emergency or problem.

Overall, campus life is not great. All the fun activities happen outside the campus, there are so many places to enjoy for students near the college campus. The campus indeed situated in a good location, all the facilities and amenities are there nearby the campus, even you don’t need a vehicle to travel, and all the facilities are available in 100 to 200-metre walk.

There are so many options available for students to join different type of clubs and society, like moot court society, cultural society. There is diversity in the college because of the students from every part of the country, which leads to human growth and give an exceptional experience. When you take admission in the college, just after 2 months you will get a fresher's party, that would be the best thing for you in the first year, and there are so many unofficial parties would be held by your seniors for you, there are also so many activities are organised by the college. To be honest, you will have a wonderful experience at the university and Pune, being a wonderful city would give you an amazing time.
