It is for sure one of the best colleges in terms of corporate exposure before you're exposed into the real world, it is often differently interpreted as an extremely strict and stringent management and be taken in the right perspective. While that will only help students in the long term to abide by the rules and get used to your dynamic real world environment. Kristu Jayanti College affiliated with KSLU.

The admission process is quite simple as you can apply online or offline and then will be shortlisted as an eligible applicant and then will be called for a final interview. The management is run by CMI fathers which also manages the Christ College. The law college however is a new establishment and the first batch has not yet completed their course.

I'm pursuing my BBA LLB here and it's quite good as the expectations were not disappointed. Eligibility here is around 60% marks and most importantly discipline to be quite frank, all they need is discipline and obedience. I took up this course here as it is managed by CMI father, who does have a reputation in terms of educational institutions, besides being a new college, the expectations will be met as they already have a reputation to keep.

The subjects are entirely prescribed by the Karnataka State Law University. First two years will include management subjects and one law paper each year. This course however must help students who want to pursue corporate law.

The faculties here are average but highly qualified, there are in total 13 faculties with an average number of years of experience being 5 years. The least is 10 months of experience and the maximum of 25 years of experience which is held by the principal of the college who is indeed one of the most adept and highly qualified faculties of the college.

Faculties hold a minimum of masters with a very few doctors. However the teaching experience is around average as I truly believe mere educational qualification and knowledge will not provide a good teaching experience. Also the college doesn't have permanent faculties, many have left of which I would say one of best faculties.

Placement here are not yet established as it's a new College and the first batch has not yet completed its course, however the management in my opinion is capable enough to attract strong and reputed companies to visit the college for placements, I don't really have an issue with that as of now.

A legal professional can easily expect around Rs. 4 Lacs per annum as a fresher through placements.

There are enough rooms for students in college hostels and also plenty of other hostels nearby which I would suggest are better than the ones provided by the college. However that would be in the comparative sense, college does have well maintained hostels which are safe and hygienic.

The food there is not that impressive as far as my knowledge. The food there is around average and doesn't possess that high of a quality. Security and other facilities are pretty vigilant and safe for the students and the parents definitely need not worry about that.

The campus however is inevitably a beautiful one with a grass ground for football which is a pretty huge one, and a basketball court, 2 to 3 cafeterias, a Gym, 2 to 3 libraries with a plenty of resources. The campus is one of the most tidy and clean campus in the Bangalore. There are decent amount of medical facilities both in autonomous and law college.

The campus includes both the autonomous college and the law college which is in the administrative block that has recently been built. The college is constantly being improved in terms of infrastructure and campus. There is a well organized and spacious parking space of 3 layers, and I would say it is more than enough for both cars and bikes. The parking lot is well maintained and organised by the securities there.

Overall a student’s life here would not be easy if he is not willing to be self disciplined and be ready to abide by every trivial rule from top to bottom prescribed by the college management. A fully abiding student can lead a happy in fact student life here as there are plenty of resources to learn and accessible enough.

There are various activities conducted for the students’ personal growth apart from academics, such as sports and games, club activities, etc. I would suggest students with utmost interest to join here, as they would find it very pleasing to find a good campus with a huge load of resources to complete their pursuit of their career. Just a gentle reminder for students who wants a relaxed college life or management, this is not for you.
