My Personal Opinion on OU

Overall Rating
I entered this college in the year 2021 with a lot of expectations and the reality was far more better than my expectations. Our OU has provided many platforms and opportunities not only to build our knowledge but also to indulge in various technical and cultural activities depicting the vibrant agenda of the college.
 

Academics Rating
I am currently pursuing artificial intelligence and machine learning. This course comes under the specialisation of Computer Science Engineering. To get admission in the college of engineering it is required to write EAMCET and gain a rank under 5000 to join engineering. However, for joining CSE or AI-ML one should aim for a rank under 3000. The main motive the course has is that they encourage students to make them ready for the today's advanced Techie world. The course mainly focuses on training students to excel in programming skills and indulge students in practical lab sessions.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of the CSE department in Osmania University College of Engineering is supportive and always ready to help us gain more knowledge. They are very experienced and make the engineering platform easy for the students. They indulge students in real world examples and encourage students to have critical analysis. The Head Of the Department Ms. Shyamala Mam is very interactive and make sure the schedule is maintained in a right manner.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell at our institute. Our university has a vast history and a wide range of alumni who support the current students in gaining placements and acing the interview process.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facilities in our university. I am a day scholar but I have my friends who reside in the hostel present in the university. According to my knowledge, the infrastructure is decent and the food is homely and fresh.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our college has a huge campus compared to any other universities in Hyderabad. They have Computer Science and Engineering Block, College of Engineering block, Technology development block and many more. The main attraction the in college is the Diamond Jubilee Library for the aspirant readers. They have large equipment for Technical and lab sessions.
 

Campus Rating
Our College is a place where every student has a great platform to improve their skills, and build their knowledge. We get to interact with different minds and here the college life is not just about theoretical stuff but also we get to indulge in practical stuff. The fests in our college are a different level where we get to indulge in many cultural activities.

    We had a lot of fun at college. We can learn a lot of things from college. We made a lot of friends. We know how the outside world would be. There would be lot of books in the library which can be useful for us in the central library and have core books in the branch libraries. Mostly, we have to depend on ourselves than the faculty.     Osmania university is one of the top most university. The university life is quite different from normal college life. There are lots of professors in the college. Here we have a lot of time to do extracurricular activities such as learning any coding languages, or preparing for competitive exams.     Osmania University is a best Institute. As it covers all useful courses like engineering, degree Or post graduation. Osmania university follows the strict discipline and rules and there are libraries too which can help for clearing doubts or gaining knowledge. Osmania university has ranked 43th in NIRF Ranking.
