Bharti Vidypeeth has all the ingredients that make it the top college in Pune. Pune is an education hub and this college has attracted students from all across the country. As soon as the entrance forms are out people in numbers enroll for the same. Same was the case with me as I couldn’t wait a bit as soon as I finished my H.S.C. exams. I immediately applied for the entrance and also cleared with good numbers.

The entrance is one way to enter and the other way is obviously the back door, i.e. if you have some big bucks you can try that way as well. Seats are good enough and management too is lenient as they have to maintain a state of the class campus. Well, that’s one aspect but the main aspect is the studies and I will agree that studies are certainly the best here.

Well academic wise the college is probably best to none. The professors the facilities are all top-notch. The students can’t walk away with bunking lectures and many of our friends have been denied sitting in exams due to less attendance. Now you can imagine the strictness. Strictness is one aspect and helping students is another.

The management takes a clear note of the weaker section of the students and has made sure that they are given more attention. Well, I fall in that list and must say on some days even felt pampered. The portions are covered within stipulated time and even during this time of pandemic we have covered the entire semester. The practical’s in engineering is something that has equal weightage as theory and college has made sure that at least make those fun. The timings of the college are 7am to 3pm with 2 breaks.

The student to faculty ratio without a doubt is unmatched. However, that’s not all as sometimes the proxy teachers comes in and the teaching method differs. This is where we so called weak students haven’t been able to grasp. I hope our voice is taken seriously and they do something about that. However, other than this there is no issue at all with the faculty. The faculty members are great and hold an excellent reputation among the students. Yes, as a student we do fear them but all in good sense.

Bharti Vidyapeeth and placements go hand in hand. Many engineering colleges in Pune claim they are the best but I can say Bharati Vidyapeeth is the best. Not just Indian but international companies too have started visiting our campuses off late. Many students have got placed in international ventures likes Appidale, Accenture, and Persistent Systems. Auto companies though have remained the flavor at the campus and companies such as Bajaj Auto, Tata Motors, and BMW have been the top recruiters.

The average placement package is something that I am not sure about but the highest that was grabbed in 2019 was from a boy who got placed in Rallis Industries. The package was around Rs. 16 lakhs and this is something which we don’t generally associate with an engineering student. However, when I interacted once with my seniors they said something in range of Rs. 4-6 LPA is all that you can expect. As a fresher I believe is more than enough and as a student of this privileged college I cherish that.

The college has done an unfair practice here. There are as many as 6 wings for girls hostel and I am not sure with the numbers but it accommodates nearly 1000 girls. For boys there’s just 1 wing though the biggest of them all accommodates 300 students. There are nearly 100 rooms and a dormitory for the 1st year students.

The hostel in a way is good but relocated to a flat in the second year. Hostel though has nothing to do with that as it had almost all the facilities that one can ask for such as mess, round the clock security, sufficient parking space, recreation room, common room, and also sporting facilities. The only problem that I actually faced was smoking as 80% of the students were smokers and used to smoke inside the hostel building. If one wants to put up at the hostel, I believe it’s a great choice otherwise Pune has numerous flats and pg’s available for students.

The infrastructure is modern and the campus is huge. Spread across 85 acres and has numerous buildings. Located a little far from the city but has almost everything available near the campus. From labs to libraries to college canteens everything is the best. The college’s USP is its campus for sure.

Well the campus life is good. Something that I haven’t imagined of for sure. All the students connect well and there’s nothing called junior or seniors. The ladies strength is less but if anyone misbehaves, he is immediately thrown out. The security at the campus is 24x7 and so one can feel absolute secured inside the campus. In all, the college is unlike other engineering colleges where students don’t wish to come. At, Bharati Vidyapeeth, we want to stay as long as we can.
