Good for engineering but not recommended for management courses.

Overall Rating
It is one of finest college for engineering purpose but cannot be recommended for management courses. Faculty is good but placements are not up to mark it also lacks in personality development courses. Admission process is very easy proper consultation is done. And management of college is also average.
 

Academics Rating
I did my MBA course from this college. Eligibility for MBA is minimum 60% marks in graduation and there is no entrance exam. I always wanted to join corporate sector and thus I joined this course. Subjects of this course are according to my expectations, it covers most of the things we need to know about management and this course is really helpful to get a job.
 

Faculty Rating
There are around 15 faculty members for this course. Overall there are around 50-60 faculties in this college. Average experience for teaching is around 8-10 years. Mostly faculty is PhD and good as they teach subjects well.
 

Placement Rating
This college somehow lacks in training and placements for MBA course. Mostly company with higher packages here came for marketing students. HR and Finance students somehow suffer for the placements. Highest package was provided by Jaro Education of Rs. 8.5 lakh per annum. Till now Average package received by our batch is of Rs. 6.5 lakh.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel faculty is really good. Girls and boys hostels are separate. Food quality is really good there is proper schedule of food for everyday. There is proper security for the students in hostel and many facilities like air conditioning mess laundry is provided.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are around 4 different blocks in college 1 lawn and a football ground and separate parking for boys and girls. Classrooms are clean, airy and well managed. Library takes full marks for maintenance and availability of books. Different laboratories are there for different purposes. Auditorium is really big and properly maintained. Cafeteria provides good quality of food. Medical and emergency room is also there.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is good. Full of fun and exposure. Many events take place here. There are number of clubs like Arteso, Ashwa, Alfaz, Gidha, Bhangra, Sargam, Clickers etc. Main event of college is tech fest and youth fest these events helps students to enjoy their campus life. These not only help to explore things but also help to groom once personality.

    Daviet short form of DAV Institute of Technology, is situated in Jalandhar city and too far from the central area this college is a good enough collage there are no such advantages over top colleges but if you are looking into this review you probably did not get into top NIT or IIT and you live in the Punjab region so the choices are limited for you go so over other big colleges in Punjab like Lovely Professional University or Chandigarh University.
